Considering how much agriculture and manufacturing actually come out of California, this would have a substantial impact on the rest of the US. The California gdp is as much as in the top 5 gdp's in the world.

The want some type of techno-fascist feudal system where the U.S. is basically split up into big company towns all controlled by individual oligarchs with no central government to contend with. It’s a half baked scheme funded and thought of by Peter Thiel and Curtis Yarvin
