This is literally it. He's just doing what Putin is telling him to do. The point is to destroy the United States, all of it.

I think the larger aim here is to destroy the world market, drive up prices across the globe and then sit back and watch democracies being overthrown by their own selfish citizens. I hope it doesn’t come to that but I’m sure that’s one of the end goals here.
