What’s this brand of wheel?
I really like the blue wheels in this YouTube video. I can’t see the brand name too well I was hoping someone would know it.
Idk about rules about posting videos so the YouTube video title is “Tony Hawk teaches How to drop-in on vert” by RIDE channel.

I can lock in 50-50s every time, but my back foot placement during the grind is very inconsistent. My heel usually ends up in the middle of the board, and I think it's because my ollie does this weird-ass ollie south thing. I don't really know why, since I don't have this problem with normal ollies, only when going into 50-50s. Any advice?

Not sure if this is exactly the right sub to ask this question but I’m hoping someone has some experience with this. It’s time to clean my bearings and it’s my first time ever doing it. I opted to buy some acetone as per the recommendation on Bones’ website. I have yet to attempt to clean them because I’m worried about how to safely dispose of the acetone after I use it. Specifically looking for a suitable container to take it to a waste disposal place. Any tips?

I’m currently rocking an 8.25 Powell flight deck. Pretty sure wheel base is 14.25 with mellow nose and tail. And medium concave.
I really enjoy the pop, and the similar size tail and nose but I wanted to move to a 8.5 and was wondering if there were any other brands ppl that liked similar things enjoyed. It’s just hard to find sales at my local for that brand board. If anyone has suggestions for similar style boards just a lil bigger that would be great.

I have an 8.5 inch deck I want to use as a cruiser and some spare trucks. Would Thunders or Ventures be better? I’ve heard Thunders turn better but Ventures are more stable.

Back when I was skating vert I used to have a fun little party trick where I would let my skateboard go into the halfpipe, and when it came back up I would jump onto it. What in the world is that called? Does it even have a name?
r/skateboardhelp • u/chrisfish123 • 21h ago
I have an issue where sometimes when I try to pop a trick it'll just not pop and the board doesn't come with me so I end up doing a weird hippy jump. The thing I'm scared of is if that happened when I'm trying to do a trick down something it will cause me to slip out. How do I remove or reduce this from happening

I call them Wax Pux. thicker and tougher. I’m still working on making them even more slippery, but it’s going well

I know grip tape alternatives have been tried before—rubber, foam, etc.—but none of them really work long-term or have gained mass appeal. Sticky Feet has been messing with TPU as a material, and honestly, it feels like the answer. Super durable, superior grip that will outlast the life of your deck, and way easier on shoes. We are building it from the ground up and have already proven the concept of TPU grip on the Onewheel community where we are thriving. Looking to take the leap in to the mainstream with grip for skateboards. Curious to hear thoughts any feedback that you guys can provide.

This is the only image I can find of one of my skateboard decks I had as a kid. If anyone know of the name or has a better image, please hit me up!

Alright so I’m 25 and haven’t skated since my senior year of high school. I was never good to begin with but Ive recently started again and I need some advice on learning/re learning how to skate as an adult
r/skateboardhelp • u/Low_Statistician2005 • 2d ago
This is not me but I found it on line and would like to learn the trick because it looks cool. I'm a newer skater so if you have any tricks on learning it would be appreciated.

I've seen a thousand guides on the proper way to clean bearings. All of them have you take the bearings out by prying them off using the trucks.
For the first time, I'm sort of afraid of doing that. Won't it damage the bearings if I keep doing that? Are there better ways?

I am looking for a new board but not sure what size to get. My shoe size is around 10.5 US mens. I weigh 120 lbs, and I am 5'7. I like to just cruise around and do flip tricks and I am still learning to do rail tricks. I was thinking 8.3" is a good size based on a youtube video I watched. Thanks.

Walmart, a place where 40 year old unemployed men go to scalp Pokemon cards to resell, and where 30 year old unemployed skateboarders (me) go to buy kiwi and discover parking lot spots.
Found this cart rack that someone must've backed into (not me) but definitely considering a fifty up it now. If I were goofy I’d just boardslide up it. Wobble is pretty gnarly, but biggest factor is that it's made of aluminum which my trucks will dig into fast and take away from a smooth grind
🧈Anyone got sauce on skate-treating aluminum?
