There’s nothing weird about me, wanting to utilize a color scheme more widely that I’m not able to because of its representation that doesn’t align with me. If nothing else just to avoid confusion or questions
this color scheme, especially the one pictured which is literally just violet and teal, is not going to make anyone think you’re gay. use whatever colors you want bro. flagging, as used in the LGBTQ+ community, is pretty precise and there is always a solid attempt made to A. keep the colors as close to the shades shown in the actual flag as possible and B. keep the colors in the exact order they are shown in. thinking you can’t use certain colors because they appear in pride flags is honestly pretty paranoid, and unless you’re in a place where being mistaken for a gay person could actually get you killed, I wouldn’t even give that shit a second thought.
