Listen up lads, there's a new sheriff in town. I was recently granted permission to mod this sub. My main goal as the new mod is to revive the sub. I want to breathe some life back into it and get some discussions going for the sake of anyone who has inquiries. I also want to post updates from the college too, whether it'd be about public statements or events happening in the college.
Hopefully all will work out. Here's to a new beginning 🎉
Hey, I am from Asia and got offer from TU Dublin for Bachelor of Economics and Finance. And I am considering to accept this offer. Is the degree from this university worth it? And how is student life there? After graduation, can students have a proper job or pursue my Masters degree in UK top universities? Please give me some advice because I can’t find enough information about TUDUBLIN.
Hey everyone,
I’m currently facing a bit of a dilemma and would really appreciate some insight.
I’ve been accepted into the following programs:
• University of Limerick – MSc in Software Engineering
• TU Dublin – MSc in Computing (Advanced Software Development)
• National College of Ireland (NCI) – MSc in Data Analytics
Is there anyone here who is currently studying at any of these universities or planning to join these programs soon? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the quality of teaching, job prospects, student supportt, and overall experience.
Any advice or recommendations would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!
I am a PhD student working on a research exploring the link between mental health (stress, anxiety, and depression) and environmental stressors, including air quality and the spaces we live in.
If you’re over 18 and live in Dublin, Cork, or Limerick, I would appreciate it if you could take 10–12 minutes to complete this anonymous survey. The research ethical committee has approved the survey, and moderators of this subreddit have kindly allowed me to share this study with you.
No personal data is collected, and all responses are completely confidential.
hi I'm planning to move to dublin for my masters. I want to know what life is like in dublin. I know this is open ended but any opinions are welcome.
is there anything I must consider before moving?
If anyone has stayed at mezzino could you share your experiences living there? The reviews on google were pretty negative but they're the only accommodation I found that allow under 18s to book a room. And they're also the ones that are partnered with TUD.
I've gotten an OL from TUD for Bachelor's in Economics and Finance course. I'm looking for someone who might be going there and might need a buddy. My parents are also looking for someone I could maybe live with.
So if anyone wants that please contact. If you know someone, please feel free to send me their details so we could connect.
Im an Indian and would like to connect with a South Asian girl.
I’m starting my undergrad in Ireland this fall, but I haven’t started looking for accommodation yet. I was planning to begin my search in June, but I’m worried that might be too late. Will there still be decent options available, or is that cutting it too close?
Hello all! I’m seeking any and all information you have about the MSc in sustainable development program at TUD. I wanna go into Urban Planning. I also applied to Trinity. I like the work placement in the program but wanna hear more from students about their experiences and if it is worth it!

I am an international student from India, got offer in TUD for TU850 course (Bsc Hons in Datascience and AI) and TU 856 (Bsc Hons in ComputerScience). Can anyone share more details on the placement opportunities, lectures for these courses, and that would help to decide which one to take.
I am currently seeking participants for my undergraduate dissertation in DCU’s Social Sciences and Cultural Innovation ⭐️
My dissertation is exploring emigration from contemporary Ireland, it hopes to identify key motivators and better understand current trends around emigration.
Participation involves taking a 5-10 minute survey online and all responses are anonymous.
If you are aged 18-28 and currently living in Ireland, I would really appreciate your participation and insights.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions :)
Hello, i'm an international student and I'm thinking of taking Corporate Finance for 10ECTS and Management Accounting for Business Decisions also for 10ECTS this coming Fall 2025. I have some other options but i wanted to know: are these courses considered difficult/really heavy? I know that in my Uni, the equivalent classes are some of the most difficult in the program, so I wanted to know firsthand from people in TUDublin already, to know what to expect.
Also sidenote, is there anywhere i can see (or can anyone recommend) any elective courses to take? The uni website doesn't provide any comprehensive list.
Sidenote #2, is there a Discord i could join to talk to people in TU DUblin?
Looking at digital marketing and both undergraduate are in both locations.
What is your experience with each?
Tallaght will take 1.5 hours roughly public transport. Blanchardstown seems to be more difficult. Bus to city and bus to Blanchardstown and then a bit of a walk?
I recently received a conditional offer for the MSc in Sustainable Development at TU Dublin. To secure my place, I just need to submit my IELTS transcripts. I’m an international student with a background in Architecture, and I’ve been working as an architectural designer in China for the past five years.
I noticed on the website that the program offers work placement, and I’m curious to know more about these work placement. I’m also interested in hearing about job prospects after graduation.
Thanks in advance for your help¡
So I love computers and coding but during Covid I slacked off and ended up having to drop to ol maths, which I’m quite good at but still. Is this course good? I love learning languages too and I love learning German, so I feel like it would be a good fit but I want to know if it’s actually any good
Hey, I have a student card that doesn't expire. I'm now one year out of college and my student leap card expired. Could I use this student ID to make another student leap card? Even though I'm not a college student anymore ?

I’m doing a small research project on the challenges of student commuting in Ireland. With rising accommodation costs and unreliable public transport, commuting is getting harder for those living far from campus. On top of that, the government’s plan to phase out university car parks adds to the difficulty. I’ve created a short survey to understand these issues better and explore ways to improve commuting for students.
I’d really appreciate it if you could take a moment to fill it out and share it with others. The more responses we get, the better our chances of finding practical solutions. Thanks so much for your time!
could some poeple tell me their opinion and some experiences from the university? also is there anywhere i can ask questions about things like tuition price and requirments? the website isnt that useful honestly and i have so many questions
Hi, I am looking for someone who goes to TU Dublin School of Art and Design, preferably fine arts, who can telll me a little about the school.
I’m supposed to be attending Fine Arts on the second year second semester but I’m starting to doubt my decision.
I was wondering if anyone know how much self studio practice there is, how many seminars and if it’s heavy subjects? I’m used to mostly working in my own studio and in workshops at my home academy. I’m afraid that TU Dublin school of art might be too theoretical and to little hands on for me, but I find it very hard to find a lot of information about the school.
I have developed an app to help with housemates who aren't pulling their fair share with the cost of electricity, it's not fair if your housemate is there 7 days a week but you still have to put as much towards the electric bill as them... This app is a fair and easy way of addressing this issue.
If i was to launch it in the coming months do you think you would use it?
