I have certainly learned over the years that we're all less different than we think. This is kind of lame but, there was an askreddit thread about little things you do to pass the time or something like that. In the thread someone mentioned that when they're alone in the car for a drive, they like to imagine someone from the past is with them and they explain how things work today versus back then. How technology works etc. Literally do the exact same thing.

This lame seemingly random thing I did? Yeah a bunch of people do it too apparently. We're all a little less unique than we think, and that can be depressing or comforting depending on the angle you look from I think.
