Everybody has some of this. ADHD is diagnosed when it severely affects your executive functioning (in the brain) and life.

I think for kids it can be overdiagnosed but also a bit underdiagnosed for some.

For adults I think it's underdiagnosed. Underdiagnosis of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in Adult Patients: A Review of the Literature
