Our sweet 9 month old intact male has recently started marking in unwelcome areas(inside, on people’s legs at the dog park!!). Any suggestions on what to do? If I catch him he doesn’t do it. But at the dog park, he bolts when let it, and immediately pees on someone. It’s happened twice now in a couple weeks…I don’t know what to do. Anyone experience this?

We’re waiting for our V puppy & I’ve been researching training for puppies. Came across “McCann dog training” on YT. So many great training videos to train ur pups from the 1st day. Wanted to share.
Hi, I just got a vizsla puppy. This is Sunny. 8 weeks old. How do you guys train her to stay home alone? This one does not like being in a crate or carrier, just whines and barks all the times. Always needs someone to be next to her. I had 2 dogs before but they are old now 14year old, and I forgot what puppies are like. When do you start training them? Do they learn quickly or not really? I read some materials but want to hear real owners. Thanks

Luka loves having his head out of the car windows. When he comes.home he always 'smells' so much more 'doggy' anyone else noticed this? He is clean but stinks after a car ride (and massive eye boogers)...

Was Coopers 5th birthday the other day. The boys wouldn't wear their party hats, but allowed the bow ties

Has anyone had experience with their Vizsla developing Lipomas? If so did you consistently get them removed? My V is 11 and he’s been getting them for years. Originally I would get them removed but since he was getting them so often I stopped. The vet now wants to remove a few but at his age I’m a little weary to put him under if it’s not absolutely needed. Thoughts? He’s very healthy in all other ways just has some lumps and bumps on him

2 weeks in and I’m no longer overwhelmed! Getting her to stop ripping into my skin every 3 mins was the key to enjoying puppyhood. She is still crazy and I’m sure we’ll have more tough moments, but this is what I thought I was signing up for!

I'm the type of person that never vacations in the same place twice. I like new and different experiences in all areas of my life. I never thought I'd be a "one breed" dog owner. For my first dog I did so much research into what I wanted, what would fit my lifestyle etc and came up with a Vizsla. He's 4 now, and the best dog I could have ever have imagined. My mind is now wondering to dog number 2 and what breed I'd like. But everything I research just doesn't seem to match up to the Vizsla! I adore his velcroness, his affection, his derpiness, endless energy and love for life.
Did I just pick the best breed first? Or am I just biased because I love him so much. I'm a professional dog walker too... so I have tons of experience with different breeds, but am yet to find one that would match me better. Am I going to have a life filled with only Vizsla's or are there any other breeds out there that are a match?

Hi, meet Lulu. She is a rescue dog in Hong Kong who went from heart worms and shaking in fear from abuse to a happy, confident girl (it's been a journey!). Our vet suspects she may have primary lung tumors. This is not confirmed but seems likely. She is 10 years old (we think).
If anyone has dealt with this I would appreciate your experience and advice. My partner thinks she has had a great life and we leave well enough alone while I think we should consider next steps (potentially very expensive).
Thank you, feel free to DM if more comfortable with that.
