I am planning on playing through Skyrim for the first time, and I was wondering what you all might think would be the best modlist for a first/blind playthrough?

I have been thinking about downloading wunduniik for my latest skyrim playthrough, but all i can see on the website is the download size. is this the final extracted size, and if not, what is? Just want to know so i can free up enough hard drive space

Found licentia black today. I got excited then saw it was unavailable. Then saw licentia next is there but also to go to the discord. Would anyone invite me to that discord. Or tell me if the licentia next would run on steam deck. Since licentia deck is gone. Any help would be appreciated even if it's telling me that it's cooked and I'm screwed so I can move on to something else.

How does it work as a ttw/fnv list

Doing a fallout TTW play through with the Begin again mod list. Is there any way to disable the ability for the player to sprint in the tweaks menu in-game or to remove the mod that allows for it? I find it to be too convenient and has made exploration less fun for me.

I’ve tried changing the bind in the controls but for some reason no matter the bind set, shift still activates the sprinting.

I was looking for mod packs to put on my steam deck. I was just wondering if it was even possible to do the project skyrim or project unleashed on the deck. I have a 950 gb of free space so I have enough space but I'm new to modding and I've downloaded 2 mod packs before but they were specific for the deck.

I have been trying to install LoreRim but have just stumbled upon this issue.
Wabbajack seems to not be able to find two data files of creation club content.

However, when I look in my S:SE data file, I can clearly see them listed, so I followed the only fix I could find recommended and it said to open the game and make sure all creation club content is downloaded, so I did, and the issue persists.
Am I looking at the wrong folder? The Fatal Error message leads me to believe that it is simply looking through my game's data folder.
I feel a bit foolish, so any help would be appreciated.

I'm torn between life in ruins, wasteland reborn, and magnum opus. I'm really looking for improved gameplay a bit more balance, so combat doesn't become too easy like the base game. And lots of new quest mods since I've seen that thiers a lot of cool mod quests. I've seen people sh*t on wastland reborn, but I'm kinda leaning to it because it has "Rising america " the enclave mod it looks dope. PS. Is sim settlement that good? and would I be able to add it to any of the modlist spoken about above.

I am currently a couple of weeks into making my own NGVO-based list that I will eventually be loading to Wabbajack. I would love your mod recommendations as I put this together—things you have enjoyed playing with or QoL things you can't live without. This is my first undertaking of this kind as I learn to mod at a higher level.

Purpose & Gameplay/Difficulty:
My goal is to make something between Lorerim and Vanilla in terms of difficulty, where it's challenging but not punishing. I will not be using Requiem but instead am utilizing SimonRim as a base, which I have enjoyed more. The idea is to provide players with an assortment of options and gameplay styles that can be mixed and matched without much punishment, or to make people who are addicted to starting over (like myself) a quick way to hop back in the action with tons of options and custom skill trees from the best modders.

Visuals:
I will be making this into more of a high fantasy style with denser forests and grandiose flora and environments. I have a high-end rig and will be building it to stay at or above 60 frames, but it will likely require similar requirements as Lorerim or slightly lower.

Working on now:

• Armors and Weapons (75% done) - Lore-friendly and optional over-the-top sets
• Character Customization and Presets (90% done) - Adding final presets
• Combat (40% done) - Animations and framework exist but need refinement
• Environment (70% done) – Currently adding full patchwork for Seasons of Skyrim
• Final UI Tweaks (95% done) - Fully functioning but might add a few things
• Gameplay Foundation (50% done) - Still testing options
• NPCs and Followers (5% done) – Need suggestions i don't use companions often
• Player Homes (0% done) - Would love suggestions
• Quests (5% done) - Need Suggestions, only have LotD and Undeath currently
• Skills & Leveling - (100% done for v1) - Note there is no class system yet as I havent found one I like but should have plenty of customizable options for any playstyle
• Towns and Villages (0% done) – Haven't decided on direction, but it will be a massive overhaul. Would love suggestions

I'm considering Nefaram so far, but I'm not a fan of some of the movements in combat I saw in a trailer vid. That's the only thing holding me back right now from that particular mod list, but like I said, new to modding/wabbajack.

Ideally, I'd want a mod list with:

- Combat that looks realistic in its movements and is challenging and tactical (a few hits and you're dead, but also applies to most enemies).
- Supports survival mode and potential adjustments for minimal HUD elements except when completely necessary.
- Sex is a plus for added realism but not completely necessary.
- Better voice packs for the PC (vanilla female sounds too much like a dude).

Basically anything you can think of that would make Skyrim look, feel, and play as realistically as possible. This idea comes from a challenge run I did when I started streaming back on my ps4 before switching to pc where I turned off autosaves and all hud, had survival mode, realistic movement speeds (ie slower player, faster animals), as close to the realistic combat mentioned above as I could get, with somewhat enhanced visuals.

I've been playing Gate to Sovengarde recently, and I gotta say, I don't like it at all even after ~40h of trying to do so. So, I was wondering if someone could recommend me a different modlist. Something with similar (or better) performance (got okay fps on gts), probably, Valhalla (looked pretty cool when I saw it in videos) and maybe even Requiem. Just something fundamentally different from GTS combat wise. GTS felt clunky, slow and the constant one-shot or two-shot by every one of 5 enemies around me just sucked. (Even with the highest level and upgraded heavy armor.)

Of course, as much new content as possible would be cool as well.

I wouldn't be opposed to NSFW stuff, but it's not a priority.

Will this mod have any conflicts with begin again modlist?

I'm looking for a modlist that doesn't add a ton of items and spells, and especially not a bunch of reskins of essentially the same item or spell. I'd also like to rely on finding equipment and spells as opposed to be able to buy anything from vendors, particularly in the early game.

I expect that basically all modlists will add some equipment and spells so I'm not asking for nothing to be added but I would like things to be limited at least at the start of the game. For example, I don't love seeing the Riverwood Trader have a huge selection of spells and high-end items to buy and I don't love seeing the crafting menu filled with a bunch of options when I'm crafting for the very first time.

Any recommendations?

So I spent too much time downloading this pack, and when the ENB is on, there is invisible dragons, messed up plants, invisible hair and torsos, and it’s weird but when it’s off, it’s fine. Can anyone help? It’s my first modpack download so idk if I missed something. Here’s some pics

Everytime this happens, when I retry after deleting the file it has to restart the cycle of Deleting files, empty folders, and extracting, which takes almos 1 hour (Should it be so slow, or may be it because my SSD?)

Is there a way to bypass this? (Doing it manually, deleting the mod from the list, (Don´t know how to do that), any other solution?

The Texture.bsa error seems to appear on some specific modpacks. In this message its the Vampire Lord Perk Tree Mod, but sometimes its also Bandolier - Bags and Pouches.

And I have no idea about the ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib thing.

Has anyone had this problem before?

EDIT: To fix this problem -> Put wabbajack in a different folder. I put the wabbajack and librum folder into E:\Games and that caused the issue.

Hiiii, I'm looking for a pack that does big time overhaul of many skyrim systems, dont want just vanilla+ I like to have big changes but also not a fan of requiem. Please allow pack to not use survival mode and have fast travel available, or at least a supported method to turn off those functions. NSFW is okay and honestly a plus. I like good graphics mods too, can be community shader or ENB idc. Including AE content is also a big plus! Thank you!

So I have'nt try modding for about a year and decided to give it go. I tried to download a mod pack for skyrim special edition but some reason the file is download (even tho there is an error in the process) and just after that, when it dowloads another file, the first one just skidadles in oblivion never to be seen.

If someone has a solution or even just some piece of advice, it would really be much apreciated.

I now myself skydadles to the gates of oblivion to see if one of the daedra saw a file or a thousand pass through.

I am returning Skyrim player after a couple of years and was looking to play Skyrim on my steamdeck.

I bumped into Tuxborn and it feels like a nice mod collection to start with, but I am not able to understand the difference between the version with BFCO and without. I've read the Tuxborn description on Github and the description of all the affected mods, but I still can't really imagine how it feels differently ingame. I even watched some videos, but still not sure what is the main difference in the combat system.

Could you please ELI5 what are the gameplay changes between the BFCO version and regular and how they feel like? And also would you recommend to rather play with or without as a returning player? I was thinking about playing spellsword type of character. Thanks a lot!

Hello! I’ve recently acquired a PC and am looking to get into modding for New Vegas. I’ve done a bit of research on this sub and elsewhere, and I’ve narrowed down my options to 3 modpacks: Wild Card (TTW), Uranium Fever, or Wasteland Prospects.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any of these packs, and could offer some insight into which they prefer. I know “best” is subjective, so I guess I’m just looking to see if any pack runs better than the others, or is more frequently updated/supported.

Uranium Fever seems to be the more hardcore option, but it also seems to be the newest and has close to 500 more mods than Wild Card (more doesn’t always mean better, quality over quantity and all that).

Really I’m just looking for any insight anyone has into any of these 3 packs to help me make a decision. The installs seem fairly complicated so I’d rather get it right the first time.
