It is heartbreaking to see what the modern farming industry does to innocent animals, such as shredding chicks. Incredible disturbing. That is why I personally do not eat meat.

Its great to see more people realizing that what we do to animals is in no way justifiable!;But not eating meat alone is not stoping our abuse of animals. Eating eggs, kills baby chicks. Eating cheese and drinking milk kills baby cows. Sadly that is often ignored

Only seen your comment now, but still want to answer. I think proselytising is a funny but not quite acurate word for it. I am not trying to convert people to a believe they do not have, most people love or atleast like animals and do not enjoy harming them, but their actions do not reflect these believes. I just try to make people aware of that, though i have to admit maybe not in the best way possible
