Post Game Thread - NBA: The Kings defeat the Pistons on Apr 7, 2025, the final score is 117-127.

We had a chance to retake the lead and THJ takes a 30 footer. Okay.

Maybe we can just chalk up this loss to LaVine having a crazy game, but our defense was pitiful. What's going on with this team? I don't want us going into the playoffs on a losing streak. Beat the Knicks.

Discussion If we get Cade back then there's no reason we don't win out here.

Embarrassing and frustrating game. The Mavericks are a literal skeleton crew who nearly had to forfeit games from lack of players and we're letting them outplay us. Defense was terrible tonight and we took so many dumb shots that killed any chance of coming back. Cade played great but those missed FTs down the stretch really killed us. Last game we were in a dogfight against the horrible Heat and now we're losing to the Mavs. Only 16 minutes of Ausar too. There's clearly something we have to figure out.

That turnover at the end was so dumb, probably cost us our chance to steal a win. That 3 shot was also not smart when we needed to tie, way too quick. Not a terrible game, Warriors are hot, but we could have won this. We can still get the #4 seed but we need to get it together.

Are you kidding me, we had enough time to get a better look at that 3. Why shoot it like that, so dumb

We let 2025 Clippers James Harden drop 50 on our head. Can't be doing that.

That play when Ausar got the steal and then just... threw the ball out of bounds was not great. Lot of silly mistakes like that cost us a comeback win.

As soon as Trae had the ball at the end with 30 seconds left, I knew exactly how this was gonna end. He's built for moments like that, unfortunately.

This is exactly what I wanted. Commies are a fun team that I've been lowkey cheering for cause Daniels is cool and I like Quinn. But they're also a team we should handle with ease. Another Rams or vikings game would be so boring

[Video] Pistons G Jaden Ivey suffers nasty-looking leg injury vs. Magic
 in  r/nba  Jan 02 '25

Obviously we're not competing in the playoffs but the point of this season is to continue to grow our core of Cade, Ivey, and Ausar and letting them gel together and have us in the play-in next year and the playoffs the year after that. Monty essentially sabotaged Ivey all of last season and this was gonna be his break out

Montgomery avoided season ending surgery
 in  r/detroitlions  Dec 19 '24

Err, I'd prefer he not. I love Monty, but two doctors told him it was season ending before this third one. I don't want him to hurt himself even more. We have Gibbs and Vaki, he can sit out and get himself fully healthy before the next season.

This game is proof that if we're even half healthy, come playoffs, we're going all the way. That 3 and out the first drive and being incapable of a stop is what decided this game. Our offense never gave up and kept producing when it mattered most. Our defense has been a victim of death by a thousand paper cuts. We're still getting that #1 seed and the bye week. Go fucking Lions.

What-If Wednesday - September 11, 2024

November 1994: Osama bin Laden recruited Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, to attempt to assassinate Clinton. However, Yousef decided that security would be too effective and decided to target Pope John Paul II instead.

What would have been the result of this happening? How does President Gore differ from Clinton? How does this effect our middle east policy? What would 1996 look like?
