THAT BEER…?
 in  r/CraftBeer  1d ago

This is a good question..

I’d say it’s more wanting to visit a brewery because I’ve had some of their beers in bars and cans but Hill Farmstead. One day I’ll venture there.

30 degree temp drop in 3 hours? Noice.

Went to a bar for the Florida/Texas Tech game comfortably wearing a t shirt. Left regretting not bringing a jacket.

That beer looks dark (I’m assuming it’s just the lighting). I love Julius. 6.8% is my sweet spot for an IPA. Delicious beer. Cheers 🍻

Whole Foxes album. But weirdly, Death Wish has been on repeat a lot. It’s such a vivid song.

Damn, I haven’t listened yet but that was one of my favorite components of this initial release. The pop and groove of his playing tied everything together.

What is everyone's thoughts on 12oz vs 16oz?
 in  r/njbeer  Feb 23 '25

Just went to Oakflower and got some double IPA cans (a WC and NE). Honestly, I prefer the 12 ounce. Much more manageable IMO.

I noticed that as well. It was canned 4 days ago. I think it was just the lighting in my place. Definitely wasn’t oxidized.

Admittedly, I haven’t had much of Kane. I think the main difference is this is 8.2 compared to 6.6. I’m also pretty hazed out (I went to Kane for the Irish stout and the stout aged in the Old Fitzgerald barrels). But this was good. Highly drinkable, not overly sweet, and had a good balance of flavor. Would recommend.

For sure, but just because Alchemist gets distributed doesn’t necessarily mean I always see it often where I live. It pops up every now and again. I was more surprised about the canned on date.
