Rotablade.com Still Shipping?

They have definitely been very responsive, but I have also seen several people say the same. Website stock isn't truly representative of what is actually on hand. Still pending on my order.

Question Rotablade.com Still Shipping?

Hey everyone! I ordered a Tri-Stubby Stainless Steel from Rotablade yesterday, as my first premium spinner. However, after ordering, I started reading reviews and saw several comments on Reddit more recently advising they were not receiving their orders even after being told it would ship next week.

I reached out to the CS team, and they advised me the same thing, would ship late this week or early next week.

This has me feeling relatively anxious and wanted to confirm, has anyone ordered recently and received their item? I am getting nervous and want to know if I should give up and refund my purchase.

I am prepared to wait for my order if there is confidence it will arrive, but wanted to hear others experiences.

Excellent choice! Definitely let me know what you think of it!

I believe it came with mediums. When I switched the strings out I bought mediums and it felt exactly the same. And I also typically used lights/custom lights in the past. But to your point, the mediums felt right and I have stuck with them. Very excited for you!

Hey Rolo!

I have really enjoyed my D-28 satin and continue to play it several times a week.

It has a very worn-in sound out of the box that most guitars take a long time to get to. I tried several D-28s prior to pulling the trigger, this one sounded the best to me.

I've not felt a need for a pickup, as it has great volume as is.

String wise, nothing too exciting. Martin 2.0 Lifespan treated phosphor bronze. Historically I used Elixir's but did not like them on this Martin.

Hope this helps!

Thank you!

It lives in it's case, I typically leave it in the stand no more than a few hours during the day.

Thank you very much. I was also a huge fan of the tuners. Just looks so classic.

I bet that sounds amazing. The satin neck is really nice definitely. Hope you are able to find a good replacement you like!

Thanks a ton!

It is also satin, that second picture definitely makes it look more like gloss than satin though. I thought that when I took the picture haha.

I did also test an HD-28 and it was a beautiful instrument. You can't go wrong and I really hope you enjoy whatever you end up getting!

Thank you!

I tested for a few hours over two trips and as much as I see people go back and forth on this subject, I personally couldn't tell a significant difference between the ones I tested gloss vs satin.

I was able to test new and a 2005 D-28 they had for sale used. They all played pretty much identically, and sound wise I had a hard time distinguishing anything substantial. Maybe a more experienced Martin player would say otherwise. But they are both beautiful guitars that are so easy to play and sound great.

First upgrade in a decade from a ~$400 dollar Yamaha. Got it last Saturday at my local shop after testing quite a few guitars. Loved the openness of this guitar. Night and day. Have any of you had a chance to try the Satin out in person yet?
