Another reading order question- but I just wanna know if it’s okay to switch 5 and 6? Not ready to leave Sera and Nyktos yet! (Currently 90% done with A Shadow in the Ember)

I guess it depends on how ALITF ends. I’m currently about 30% into it and right now glad I didn’t go back to FBAA yet

To Continue FAF or FBAA?
 in  r/frombloodandash  2d ago

I’m in the same boat as you and just finished FAF#1 yesterday (after FBAA 1-3). I couldn’t switch yet and am currently about 30% into FAF#2. I asked around before I finished FAF#1 and saw lots of people immediately went to the next FAF book and lots even recommended it. I’ve heard that FAF#3 can be a little spoilery but nothing too bad, and to at least go back to FBAA before reading FAF#4.

Good to know! That’s my issue too is that I hate being pulled out of the story and don’t want that to keep happening every time I’m supposed to switch

What order? Blood and ash/flesh and fire

Thank you for this comment!! I’ve read the first three FBAA and then moved to FAF after reading The Crown of Guilded Bones (even though it was so hard to pull away from the story and start another). I’m currently about 90% done with A Shadow in the Ember and was basically looking for someone to say it’s okay to read A Light in the Flame next because I am LOVING this book and not ready to jump back to FBAA yet.

So they do make them in the same size you just have to be careful to select them that way?

Please don't say I'm not the only one who can't read a book series with more than 3 books unless it super good.

Oh wow thank you so much! I’m in Europe too and have never heard of Storytel. Was looking up cheaper audiobook options earlier this week and the top two I found online were US only. I’m also basically constantly listening to audiobooks so definitely checking this out now.

Do I need to read the Awakening #1 or can I skip it?

Oh wow. I’m currently reading FBAA#3 and before this post didn’t even realize the series wasn’t a standalone and that FAF connects to it.

Where do you listen to audiobooks with a subscription? I have a subscription to audible and have already purchased 15 extra credits this year haha

Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson. Cute, light-hearted, and even inspired by The Princess Bride

Artwork Spoiler free artwork? Spoiler

I’m about a third of the way through book three and am loving this series. Just started the first book a week ago. I was hoping to find some spoiler-free artwork of the characters and places. Found out the hard way before that googling the characters often leads to big spoilers. Thanks in advance!
