The first deck I built myself was [[Kellen, the Kid]] and he's a blast. Relatively cheap (though I've added a few higher priced cards since version one) and focused on getting value from Fortelling, Plotting, and Cascading spells. Gave me an excuse to use a bunch of Kaldheim cards I love.

My [[Lord of Pain]] deck is my favorite to play. The table is terrified, the games go fast, and most times I either win or knock myself out when heads up. So much chaos, so much fun. Based on this and only this, I enthusiastically endorse giving it a try.
