Short answer…
Going pro… Incredibly unlikely
Reaching Unreal… Very likely, but it means nothing
Harsh truth… The game has been out for over 6 years, the pros have all been playing for at least 4years and have played 8-12hrs a day for all those years.
The bigger question to ask your self is… why spend so much much time playing a video game?

How old is too old for competitive fortnite?
It’s never too late to compete. If you enjoy the thrill of competing, keep at it. In my opinion, that’s one of the coolest parts of this game, having the chance to load into the same lobby as the top players in the world because the tourneys operate as an open system (at least for game 1).

I agree, that has been the case before. I just have a hunch I’m right about this.

A brand deal with the NHL might be tricky, but even generic hockey skins would be great

NEW MAP - Best for improving in duos - Final Moving Zone Wars (DUOS) 8684-9422-2222 - Feedback Appreciated
Ahhhh man you are right. I suppose I should have paid more attention to what you guys named it, with the “Final” zone. In my head I was thinking it just as late game. Again, awesome map, been playing the heck out of it!

Awesome map! Love playing it!
1) Biggest improvement you could make would be to make the mini map work like the real in-game one. I know it can be done in creative because I’ve seen it done in other maps. For example, the map on the Realistic Surge Wars map (4772-5987-3482).
2) Other than that if you could nerf the rocket ram spawn rate that would be great. In game they only get three charges so many peeps don’t carry them.
3) Lastly, it would be cool if you could select your loadout, at least for the shotty and smg/AR
I know you and Jivan are trying to make the best (most realistic) end game practice out there. If you make these changes, you would own the market.

^ 100% this… I meant boomer relative to the average age of a fortnite player

My 10 and 11 year olds are Diamond 3 and Champ. Is this that unusual?
Unfortunately ranked mode in Fortnite isnt as good an indicator as it is in games like RL and Apex. Since they can’t play tourneys yet, go ahead and watch a YouTube video or two of a top player like Bugha. Then compare what you are seeing them do to that. I’m sure they are solid. GG’s on supporting their grind at a young age. Who know’s you may have the next Bugha on your hands, just won’t know until they can play tourneys.

Bingo. Nailed it. Exactly my sentiment.

Yup I knew my logic was flawed, forgot about the 10 game limit. Great call. Definitely try to win. Except maybe on smaller regions where only 400 peeps qual to finals, queue times could result in way less games played.

Hahah indeed very unrealistic, but just pointing it out as a counterintuitive strat that Epic might not have thought of

You only have a 1 in 100 chance of winning each game anyways, but if everyone decided to play this way and it meant more total games played, it would mean more winners… it’s like a “for the greater good of the community sort of strat”

Additional requirements to play in money tournaments this season! W or L?

According to the Twitter post, we would be ineligible to play the divisional cups.
I think 14 tourneys in the last 6 months is a big ask. I’ve been playing the game for 7 years and have played 100’s of tourney’s, but took some time off this year for family stuff, so haven’t played in a bit… was excited to play some tourneys again with how great Chapter 6 looks, but have zero interest in playing ranked cups.
They should just have this requirement be for cash prize final tourneys… shouldn’t stop peeps from playing Division 2 and Division 3 cups, as well as Solo Cash Cup opens.
The way it is right now it’s going to make it very tough for any semi-casual comp players to find full trios that meet these reqs…
Just tossing a guess out there, but I’d be willing to bet it cuts the tourney player count in half if they leave it as is…
