U.S. sent 238 migrants to Salvadoran mega-prison; documents indicate most have no apparent criminal records
He wasn’t granted asylum because he applied for it too late, there’s a cap on how long someone can be in the U.S. and apply for asylum. Withholding of removal actually has a higher burden of proof than asylum.

On what basis are you claiming he didn’t qualify for withholding?

Judge orders Trump to return Maryland father deported to El Salvador
Maybe you should file a lawsuit then because the White House is expressly saying we are paying them to house them.

You replied to me twice with this and it’s literally not true.

That’s what’s insane about that person’s case. It was adjudicated by the immigration court where the withholding of removal finding was made. The White House decided they didn’t care.

He didn’t have TPS, he was granted withholding of removal.

Because he also was granted withholding of removal which let him stay in the U.S. because there was a greater than 50% likelihoood that he would suffer future persecution if returned to El Salvador.
It’s pretty ironic that you’re complaining about other people spreading misinformation when you’re not mentioning that while invoking the final order of removal against him, when that removal order was blocked by the withholding order.

Justice Department Suspends Lawyer Who Criticized Trump Administration in Deportation Case
Your comment is incorrect. Trump ordered the firing of all Biden appointed US attorneys more than a month ago.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/feb/19/trump-justice-department-biden-attorneys
The 50 attorneys you’re referencing were career attorneys that Trump fired, which is actually an example of Trump doing something over the top. Career Justice department attorneys are rarely fired when new administrations take over.
And the appointees you are talking about Biden removing were unqualified Trump staffers who were placed on random committees they were not qualified for.

Not the person you are asking, but oil prices being low would be good for the American public but bad for the American oil and gas industry. The reason is that U.S. oil production has a higher production cost compared to other countries and if the price per barrel is too low, U.S. production won't be profitable and wells will be shuttered until the price rises again.

KP George charged with Money Laundering 😳
So you went from claiming every American is kind and welcoming to “the racism in the comments is not truly reflected in this city”.
And I’ll be as antagonistic as necessary when I see stupidity. Try to do better in the future.

There are multiple racist comments on this comment section so it’s incredible that you lack the self awareness to write this comment.

Dow craters by 2,231 points as Trump tariffs stir stock selloff
Starter comment:
The Dow Jones Industrial Average’s decline accelerated on Friday, losing more than 2,200 points following Thursday’s decline of 1,300 points. This decline came despite a better than expected jobs report for the month of March and was likely because China announced blanket retaliatory tariffs of 34%, matching the tariff percentage President Trump announced on Wednesday.
As a reminder, this decline is occurring prior to many of these tariffs taking effect, some of which will start of the weekend, and others on April 9th.
This decline in the Dow Jones has wiped out more than a year of growth in the stock market, a sharp departure from what was expected from the Trump Administration by the market and the business community.
Do you expect this decline to continue? Do you expect Trump to blink and announce a delay in tarrifs so negotiations can occur between countries?
Why did the Trump Administration place tariffs on uninhabited islands?

Judge orders Trump to return Maryland father deported to El Salvador
His citizenship status is irrelevant. His incarceration is being paid for by the U.S., in effect placing us in charge of him and giving us authority to have him brought back.

GM to Increase Truck Production in Indiana Following Tariffs
You don’t seem to be aware that the military aid we send to Israel basically never leaves the U.S. It gets spent on the American defense equipment. I don’t think we should be giving them money, but it’s basically a subsidy for American defense contractors.

There’s no consistency to its application. I’ve personally confirmed that the Immigration Courts cancelled job offers for attorneys who would work on cases which should qualify for the immigration exemption.
