Slipknot truly have become a mediocre kiss. Same show every time. Nothing new for a long time

It finally happened to me

Haha that’s because the company that owns it has festool and all the other premium German brands. Oh well, I’ll just have to be careful

Can these be retrofit to most table saws or is it only something bought with it already attached? I’ve got the Dewalt 7491- XE and feel this would be a pretty good way to make it a safer tool

I am thinking of buying the Makita 2012nb planer. Does anyone have any negative experiences or something I should know before the purchase? (Accuracy is my main concern and also the age of the machine). Thanks
 in  r/Makita  Jan 20 '24

I’ve got the dewalt one and it’s definitely a lot more heavy duty than the makita. That being said I feel the spiral head cutters are much better. The carbatec thicknessers come stock with one and I’ve used it on several sites and it didn’t skip a beat. Plus, you can chip a tooth and you’ve got a 2nd cutting edge as opposed to having to replace a whole blade.

1 Bedroom House, advertised as 3 Bedroom. Is that legal?
 in  r/AusProperty  Jan 20 '24

It’s actually a very cute place but it’s definitely a 1 bedroom house with a sun room and office.

The fact you used the term “man cave” makes it even more putrid

Clamped joins keep leaking even after tightening.
 in  r/Plumbing  Jan 16 '24

Tighten the hose clamps as hard as you can with a 1/4” rattle gun. Silicone the clamps with 5… no 6 tubes of silicone and walk away. No problems at all

Travertine is very porous. Expect to be cleaning mould out of those holes regularly. There are some pretty good sealants to apply but they can add a nasty semi gloss.

Anything remarkable about this observatory deck?

Looks pretty amazing! I’d happily live in this!

The Trex "Island Mist" is looking mint 🤌

Looks terrible and will age terribly

How did I do?
 in  r/Decks  Jan 13 '24

Thought the same thing. Butterfly pitched back to the house maybe? Until then I sure hope they’ve waterproofed that properly.

Sketchy level 6.5/10
 in  r/Decks  Jan 13 '24

Are they cantilevered as the 2nd story floor joists? Hard to tell from the photos. If so, the back span through the house depending on tie down from wall plate to plate could be sufficient enough. As I said it’s hard to see though.

Sliding barn door or French doors?
