I believe the wingarms get a weak point after the big two-armed fiery slams? I remember it being hard to see because the arms are already kinda glowing red from the fire effects.

That’s true, but what makes it confusing for me is that not only is there no list of affected moves in-game, but now which moves are affected might be inconsistent depending on the skill.

Because of that, it feels like anyone not actively searching for information on these skills online is just going to have next-to-no chance of understanding how all of them work, which is a shame.

Ah, fair enough. Really odd that not only do we have now certain skills/buffs that only trigger on specific attacks of weapons, but on top of those specific attacks that are enhanced might differ based on the skill/buff. Feels like a confusing direction for Capcom to take.

Thanks for the guide! It's really interesting that Blade Dance 3 now triggers the Convert Element blasts, since that presumably means it also works for Flayer, Whiteflame Torrent, etc... not a change I expected, but could make some of those skills more viable on Dual Blades. Actually, does that mean Corrupted Mantle's double-hit property now applies to Blade Dance 3? If it does, I wonder how that stacks up against Evasion Mantle.

Kinda depends I think? An Attack or Affinity reinforcement roll has the same value as the Attack and Affinity infusions on Artian parts, so it's just based on how you want to distribute it.

I think Elemental weapons might favor Affinity infusions because they want their reinforcements to focus on element and sharpness (but then again, Raw might just provide better value this early in the game's lifecycle). Raw and status are less strict since you're rolling for attack and affinity reinforcements anyways, so you'd probably go with whatever attack/affinity infusion mix you have and just adjust your reinforcement rolls accordingly.

For Dual Blades, if you’re going with an Elemental set I’ve seen most people recommend either Elemental 4/Sharpness 1 or Elemental 3/Sharpness 2 (not sure if that’s backed up by math though, could be that raw is still worth it at this point). For Status, my understanding is that since status infusions don’t substantially affect your damage output, you opt for 1-2 Sharpness and pump the rest into Attack or Affinity, based on how much total Affinity you want your set to have.
