Commuters crossing London Bridge in the 1980's. Look at all those briefcases!
The number of pairs of tights I had ruined by those sharp corners was unreal. The lovely older ladies in the office always had spare pairs in their desks because they were wise and taught us younglings the ways of the city.

Beachfront in Berwick?
All off of the current owners’ Air BnB listing no doubt.

Machetes wielded in broad daylight — yet we ignore the causes of London knife crime
It’s well proven that military service greatly increases your chances of being a perpetrator of domestic abuse, having significant mental health problems, and misusing drugs & alcohol.
That’s definitely the solution.

Breastfeeding and sewing
I started a beautiful rainbow paper-pieced quilt just before my eldest was born, with this exact plan! I got all the basting & hand stitching done with him in my arms.
Nearly ten years later I’ve still not done the batting & backing… 😬😬😬

I've seen church conversions before, but nothing like this...
The latter. Don’t dig too deep when planting your shrubbery!

Parents, How did you decide whether to vaccinate your child?
You mean the ones backed up by massively overwhelming scientific consensus, which itself is backed up by rigorous continual testing & data analysis? Those answers?

Parents, How did you decide whether to vaccinate your child?
How so? Vaccines literally exist to prevent preventable illness. That’s like saying any answer with the word “vaccine” is a bot 🤦🏻♀️

Parents, How did you decide whether to vaccinate your child?
I trusted people who do actual research and real science and got both my kids vaccinated.
When you scratch beneath the surface of every anti-vax “scientist” you find very quickly that they are usually grifters or bitter because they were actually not very good scientists to begin with.
The data on vaccine safety is so incredibly vast that the only legitimate reason not to is known allergies.

Saw this on a fb vid. Looks painful
What irks me most is when he calls them “performances” as if he’s making some profound contribution to the world, rather than just doing what are technically & artistically just shitty pretentious tattoos.

The Natural History Museum should charge a small admission fee - at least!
Are they? For whom? America is awful for anyone who isn’t rich, ditto the entire Middle East and Central America. Nordic countries have the highest taxes and the best quality of life 🤷🏻♀️

The Natural History Museum should charge a small admission fee - at least!
Oh so gracious of you 😂😂😂
They were also free in the 80’s with Tory pressure eventually making most of them start charging.
Also sadly national opinion seems to be swinging right, but London has traditionally been more socialist and I hope we remain so. Now just to find a leftist party which is actually on the left…

The Natural History Museum should charge a small admission fee - at least!
Yeah it’s really not. Museums were also free when I was a kid, and in the halcyon days of the mid 00’s when I earned shit and got a 110% mortgage. You can be a Scrooge who thinks everyone should be bled dry by capitalism if you like, but it’s pretty clear it’s not the consensus of opinion here.

I live in London you twonk. With free kids zip cards, and usually take packed lunches. You clearly have no idea how incredibly hard it is financially for many people.

I disagree. Days out in London can be really expensive, and having free access to amazing museums makes a big difference both to adults and families.
They encourage donations, which I imagine brings in quite a bit.
I don’t see the problem with events either, why not use that amazing space and bring more people in?

Would you date a married person and why?
Your best bet is absolutely in the poly community, and that both you as an individual and you & your wife are very clear about the terms & boundaries of both your ENM. Are you opening your relationship to have additional partners? Might you both have long-term serious additional partners but not introduce them? Are you both casually dating or hooking up?
You probably won’t have much luck outside the poly community as there are so many married men who’ll tell you they’re in an open relationship when they’re not, and most non-poly women probably won’t want to enter that world on the basis of some bloke they just met.

My(22F) boyfriend (28M) left our date for 30 minutes to play an event on his video game. How did I tell him how it felt from my perspective?
I think you should reconsider dating 12 year olds.

UK - Sugar Free Bread
I’ve just checked Hovis, Warburtons & Morrisons own brand of various types and none had sugar in. But the cheapest was £1.45 for a 800g loaf.
I don’t know what’s going on with Tescos own brand, but the others don’t have sugar in them.

CMV: Tubal Ligation should be required for any person that wants an abortion.
I didn’t, thank goodness!
Remind me who appoints judges in the US though?
Any appeals under your - frankly amazingly well thought through BTW - system, surely would be heard by a judge, no? Or are you appointing yourself as judge, jury, and basically executioner (seeing as both general anaesthetics and pregnancy/childbirth have a risk of death) for women?

CMV: Tubal Ligation should be required for any person that wants an abortion.
You’re supposed to be open to having your mind changed. The clue is in the sub’s title.

Appeal to who? Judges appointed on the whim of whoever is president?

CMV: Tubal Ligation should be required for any person that wants an abortion.
Ah shit, I thought I could just change my mind on a whim, is that not the case?! 🙄
If you think abortion is bad, cool beans, don’t have one mate.
