Michigan has to go, too. Great lakes don't belong in this shit hole country.

You're burnt out, just find something else. It's ok to do that for yourself.

Welcome baby Jream!
 in  r/tragedeigh  1d ago

Lol my little girl told me once she wanted her cereal dry, J-R-Y. Spelled it out so I wouldn't put milk on it I guess. Five year olds get this.

What seems to be the "go to" "solution" of dinner in a financial world, today, individually?
 in  r/EatCheapAndHealthy  3d ago

You guys, can of black beans, can of hominy, a lime or 2, cilantro, tajin if you have it, otherwise salt, a green onion if you have it, still good without, bag of corn chips and you're living. This was my lunch for 2 days recently and it was badass,I need to make another batch.

Vegetable soup with chickpeas and random vegetables, can of whole tomatoes and some soup herbs is what we had tonight. Carrots, celery, onion, garlic, broccoli& cauliflower.

Bag of carrots, head of cauliflower and head of broccoli cut veggie tray style, then you get a packet of fiesta ranch and a sour cream, mix that up and you're winning hard. Make a hummus also if you've got the tahini and food processor.

People leave cults quietly; MAGA is dying
 in  r/somethingiswrong2024  3d ago

"forgive and forget" is shit. That phrase makes my skin crawl, because the only people throwing it around are the ones doing heinous things that should never be forgiven or forgotten, like fool me twice, asshole. Put the burden of forgiveness on the person that got screwed over, will ya?

What do you drink in the morning instead of coffee?
 in  r/ADHD  6d ago

I drink so much green tea all day every day, I don't notice any caffeine but it tastes good and encourages me to drink something. Hot, looseleaf Jasmine Green, floating around in a giant mug like swamp water. It's good AF, get some. Teabags are gross though, get the good stuff.

For those like me who didn’t know! Psa can cause mouth ulcers.
 in  r/PsoriaticArthritis  6d ago

My husband has been losing his shit for years about his mouth. Like babe, multiple specialists have seen it and nobody's panicking. Recently just figured this out on our own and hopefully he does a little better knowing it's definitely a thing.

Do homes in the UP have basements?

Full basement with perpetual yuck puddle. Squeegee it down the drain, it comes right back.

My tiny 6yo daughter gave me a babydoll to babysit for her while she went to work,I had to keep the baby asleep so there I am, bouncing and patting this baby and I told her hey! If I get old and crazy someday, give me a babydoll and I'll be good! I remind her every several months, for her own good.

Nobody should
 in  r/TikTokCringe  7d ago

My boss dropped some pain in the ass paperwork on my desk the other day and apologized. I said "thank you!!!" Like Bill Murray and she didn't get it. That's my story.

When you were in Grade School what were the signs that your classmate was the "rich kid"?
 in  r/Xennials  8d ago

We were passing a Kmart sign on the freeway like within the past decade on a road trip, and I made my husband stop, I never do that. I had to get one little taste of kmart, though. Got the kids each a summer outfit cause we were going south, walked around, and that was the last time. I miss Kmart so bad.

He's got a damage specialist team on it round the clock. They are extremely creative at being total douches.

I think you can give it PR if they can't swallow, I read it on the Internet.

I never wanted to believe this to be true...
 in  r/nursing  8d ago

I frickin loved medsurg, the chaos was delicious. Also, it was a horribly toxic work environment so I had to go cause the job was hard enough without people making it harder by being dicks.

Six beds of random sick people really kept my attention, it was a fast 12, and I had to use my head at all times. I was damn good, I think. The people I'm in with now are amazing, and clinic nursing takes brains, too.

Who grew up with CBC shows?
 in  r/Xennials  8d ago

I just remembered Jeff for some reason when I was doing laundry last week. For the first time in 37-ish years. I thought he was a weiner when I was little, but you got what you got on TV in those days.

The only time I saw my dad laugh out loud at Simpsons was when Ralph was a gulch. Guess it's not so stupid, is it Dad?
