After 6 hours clubbing I talked to a whooping 0 women

Sure man no problem, hope you got some good help here.

If it really is just curiosity and you're striking out left and right maybe consider going to a strip club. Just to see what all the fuss is about. This is probably the only time I think going to a strip club might actually be a good idea. But that way you can talk to some girls, feel them up, maybe even pay for a little more. I think once you actually experience the physical aspect of it you might realize that it isn't really that mind-blowing.

Good luck man I wish I could help out more, I've been through phases where talking to women is easy and times where it's a complete fucking mystery. It's all just one big pendulum, nothing lasts forever. if you want to hop on a phone call and rant or anything just dm me i promise i wont talk your ear off with any more of my stoner wisdom haha.

Ask yourself why do you even want to talk to women? Is it because you want to get to know them? ...or is it to prove that you can talk to women? Why are you doing something that you seem to hate so much? If you did end up getting laid last night nothing about your life would change.

Why is having this one skill so important to you? Would you even enjoy a one night stand? Do you want to kiss a girl because you think it'll be fun, or because you want to tell all your friends that you kissed a girl? Do things for yourself, not to impress other people or check some box on an arbitrary list of how to be a man.

Right now you probably feel like you're worthless without this one specific skill, that's just a product of the world we live in. Buy a journal and answer all these^^ questions for yourself. If you work these things out it'll take a lot of the pressure off.

and find some books on stoicism and nihilism! (meditations, myth of Sisyphus, man's search for meaning) <-- all classics

going to the gym will help you build up confidence. Not because you'll have a perfect body but because you'll watch yourself get better at something you're bad at.

GL homie. This is your year! Do hard things and you'll get stronger!!

What is the root of trans thoughts? What is it that makes you know you're trans?

ok i can give a quick answer. Being a man/man presenting isn't something I've ever put much thought into. It isn't a huge part of my identity the way my values, hobbies, goals, family, and friends are. If I woke up tmr in a woman's body and had to live the rest of my life like that I don't think it would bother me all that much. Of course if it happened, who knows, it might drive me crazy, but the idea of it isn't all that worrying to me.

I'm really not trying to discredit or minimize anybody's struggles, this is obviously just my experience. Also I hope this paints a better picture as to why I need a little bit of help understanding your guy's struggles. Obviously, I don't need to understand to show love and tolerance, it 's just something I'd like to know more about.

This is something I never understood: If the line between genders is social then what is the reason for transitioning? I'm know it's not something superficial like I want to be able to have pretty hair styles or be a gym bro. But if it's not that then I can't think of what it is. Is it the idea of being a pretty girl that's alluring? Does it just "feel right" like deciding whether or not to marry someone. Or is it something else that I'm missing? Why not just be an effeminate man or a masculine woman, or more specifically what box does that fail to check? To put it bluntly: what's so miserable about having the wrong junk? I've never experienced this so I don't understand it, I truly hope none of this is transphobic, I really just want to understand my trans family members and the community in general.

Do steady lines just come with normal practice or are there special things i should be doing every day to gain that skill?

Music Minor or Math minor?

Asked my advisor about taking a music minor, I love love love music, I want to become proficient at my instrument and my school has a pretty good conservatory. He told me to take applied math instead and that it would be very beneficial for job and internship apps. Would the benefit gained from picking up a math minor be really that big? I get that it would totally make me a better product and makes more sense with my ME major but unless it is a huge plus I'd like to stick with music.

Give it some time, once you get some distance from it it won't feel so big. You already know it wasn't a big deal you just have to wait for your brain to realize it. Try laughing it off, like if it was a friend telling it to you. Whatever crazy shit she did with that person she chose to date you, they're the only one who has a reason to feel insecure.
