Festool has a different hole diameter on their saw blades and saws. If it's festool odds are it needs a festool blade or accessory kit

If it ends up being hundreds of dollars, just sell what you got and get a 1221 VS lathe. Rockler has them on sale for like $700. You won't regret making the switch

But if it comes with the Chuck just get it just because of that.

It's an older model of the 1221. I would be wary, if there is something core that is broken you will be playing roulette on whether or not you can get the correct replacement parts and will end up with a really big paper weight.

I would make sure to clarify what kind of power source it needs to be hooked up to. It may be 3 phase, instead of one. Would hate to haul this back to my house only to find out there is no way for me to get it power.

Rockler sells one that's $450. I picked on up and it seems stable enough.
