Should I get Downpour?
 in  r/silenthill  2h ago

Yes. Don't listen to the haters. Downpour is a solid game.

What was the most stressful horror video game you ever played?
 in  r/HorrorGaming  1d ago

Wanna know what's funny. First playthrough I had zero crashes. No idea why. I did however have a game breaking bug at the boss fight midway through the game. But ya the combat is a million times better with M&K. Homecoming and Downpour both aren't nearly as bad as people say.

I feel it. But hey.. we live in a society that uplifts the bad guy. We celebrate the villain. Especially in a place like SJ. I used to care. Then I realized the only thing caring did was attract ridicule. Trust me.. things will only get worse... Way way way worse.

What's your "I'm calling it now" prediction?
 in  r/AskReddit  1d ago

That they'll do another plandemic and we'll do everything all over again. We as a species are incapable of unifying at all. We are happily divorced so even (like we did the first time.. we all know that was bullshit.. the whole time) if we want to call BS on another plandemic we won't cuz it feels to good to fight and say it's real cuz we dare not agree with the side that is calling BS... Cuz like fuck em right!?

Amnesia The Bunker is great but my goodness... I can find no rhyme or reason to the monster coming after you. Half the time it felt like no matter what I did that thing was just there. At least with the Alien in Isolation when I died I was like....sigh fair enough lol

Underrated comment. Thing is, the combat is so much more executable with mouse and keyboard. I'll take the crashing and losing progress over having to try and do the combat with a controller.

It's 2024. People don't give a fuck about anything or anyone anymore.

You're going down a good rabbit hole. All I can say is don't stop.

I can't get into Infinite
 in  r/Bioshock  1d ago

I liked Infinite up until the end. It completely shits the bed. Piss por excuse for a "Boss Fight". The whole game from the moment of promotion makes you think you're gonna fight the bird and then nope... You get the worst form of boss fight ever (the everything but the kitchen sink while protecting something/someone.. while having to use the bird). Everything up until the end is fair enough. I've played the game plenty of times but that ending is just lame and unforgivable.

Feels like RE8 village is rarely talked about. Why is that? Such a beautiful story too
 in  r/residentevil  3d ago

When it came out everyone loved it and then like outta nowhere it became almost universally hated. Very bizarre. It's absolutely brilliant imo.

If you could own only 1?
 in  r/Glocks  3d ago

I feel like I'm the only person who owns a Glock 21sf. It's a fantastic gun. I own a 19 also and everyone jocks it. I like my 19 but my 21 is just wonderful.

Which games outside the original trilogy are worth playing?
 in  r/silenthill  3d ago

SH4 and SH:Downpour are must plays.

Has anyone here heard or played Necrovision
 in  r/boomershooters  3d ago

Just beat this game. About to hope right into the sequel. I thought it was brilliant. Like a hybrid of Wolfenstein and DOOM. Got both games for under 7 dollars on GOG. Anyone who is considering playing this make sure to turn off ambient occlusion in the menu or the game will crash towards the end.

Personally I thought the game was brilliant. But that's just me.

Cedric is being a little pushy…

For real. Just all sorts of improper handling etiquette here in these photos. Trigger control. Barrel pointing at each other.

The Metro series

Do yall put ammo cans in your safe or closet
 in  r/Glocks  8d ago

Safe. I look at it this way. Someone breaks in and steals ammo just to be stealing things now has bullets and shells with your fingerprints on it.

Cool easter egg
 in  r/TheCallistoProtocol  8d ago

There's one on the ship when you start the game before you crash. You can also see one (might be the same one actually) when you return to the ship later to look at the cargo with whatsherface.

Dude he is such an underrated protagonist

I HATE ALL OF YOU
 in  r/offmychest  8d ago

Oh for sure. Everyone hates everyone. Tolerating people is the real definition of love. When you love someone you're only saying "I tolerate you" I absolutely agree with this. Everyone despises everyone. That's what trips me out about people who go out of their way to virtue signal to other people how humanitarian they are. It's bizarre.

Does anyone actually play anymore I can't get a single online match
 in  r/Back4Blood  8d ago

Ya people were literally going into games and sabotaging entire runs.

2

Silent Hill Homecoming
 in  r/theevilwithin  8d ago

It's a fair enough game. It sucks that the PC port is completely broken because the combat is so much easier to execute with a mouse and keyboard. Definitely play it but it's not a game you'll ever want to play again. Downpour on the other hand.. completely underrated game.
