Is getting a PC worth it?
Remember that your monitors refresh rate will make a huge difference as well. you’ll need to upgrade that as well to get the most out of buying a pc, especially if you’ve been playing at 60/90 fps

How many years would this last me without needing an upgrade?
Personally, I’d skip the entire 5 series and buy a 9800x3d / 7900xtx build. Built one in November and im getting 300+ fps @1440p on WZ and I don’t have to worry about my GPU melting.

Cart not working
It’s not a pass through device, meaning it won’t fire while being charged. Unplug it and I bet it works just fine
