Why is the entity called the Lolipop demon??
 in  r/SmileMovie  1d ago

The song that played at the ending credits for the first film was Lollipop.

I don’t know if that’s why, but it resonated with me.

What's your favorite instance of Dan and Arin's 8-year age gap being apparent?
 in  r/gamegrumps  1d ago

Hey, at least Dan knows “so no head?” now. And Updog. Those were the two most important ones.

“Please don’t say I murder people on TV.”

I’m a month older than Arin and love Rush! But that’s because an older person got me into it.

When I first started watching them, I thought Dan was a bit of a baby. The way he reacted to certain things, acting like he didn’t want to be there.

Then I realized that they’re constantly doing bits and skits. They’re never actually mean to each other, and they know they’re not being serious when they do say something like that.

Every once in a while, Arin will say something like, “I know I sometimes call you a freak or say mean stuff to you, but it’s never real.” And Dan agrees.

So, I ended up watching the second film last night and the Russian guy does not make eye contact with Lewis as he dies, so that theory is out lol.

My husband has sexsomnia… idk what to do
 in  r/TrueOffMyChest  1d ago

My husband has this! But to a lesser extent.

He will roll over and start groping me, then try to get a hand down my pants. But he is still asleep and sometimes misses. Once, he tried stimulating my clit on my hip lol.

The first time it happened, I couldn’t help but start laughing. I’d never experienced that before, but one of the characters in Modern Family has “somnamorousness” which is where he gets amorous in his sleep.

When I told him about it the next morning he was actually horrified and worried about my consent. I reassured him I thought it was both funny and endearing. Plus, he’s receptive if I say no, and move his hand back. He just goes right back to sleep.

It also doesn’t happen all the time, and only in times of extreme sleepiness.

Long story short, I find it comforting and fun, whereas his ex wife hated it. To each their own.

Is it immoral to hook up with a ~23M when I’m 36F?
 in  r/TooAfraidToAsk  2d ago

By that I mean if there is no honesty and openness, I think age gap relationships are not good.

Normally, I’m on that train, because there typically is a power dynamic, but the open and honest part is what I’m drilling in. Most relationships with huge age gaps do include some power dynamic.

I myself was with a man 17 years my senior. We married and are divorced now because he was a narcissistic alcoholic abuser. I blame both parties in this situation, though. I was young and naive - should’ve run at the first sign of abuse but didn’t. He took advantage of me and loved flaunting that he had younger tail.

If he were open and honest with me and I was open and honest with him in the beginning, it would’ve been nothing more than a fling. Which would’ve been fine.

Uh…yes? If the two parties were consenting and it’s all honest and open?

I’m not the right audience, my friend. Sorry.

Girl, get yours! As long as you two are open and honest, go for it!

It’s so flattering to be hit on by younger men as an older 30s woman myself.

I mean, shit, he may as well have been asking you if you’ve seen his lost puppy, or want some candy from the back of his van. He’s being pretty transparent!

I totally agree. It would be a huge reach.

I also thought of that, which would mean if people were watching the live version of Skye’s death, they’d be infected, but not the recorded version.

That’s true! But the Russian guy may have looked at Lewis as he died, so the short-lived transfer could be made.

I just watched the first one last night and thought the same thing during that scene! You beat me to posting this today lol!

Yeah, unless you have to watch the person head-on, and not from behind, as was Rose’s and Joel’s view, the curse can’t spread through a screen, it seems.
