Dez Watson - 3rd day pick
Seems like his problem is he's been on a weight loss plan for 4 years and keeps gaining weight anyways

Memory is fickle. In my memory, Jack Nicholson’s joker is wearing a fizz and drinking a martini, but no?
I think it's a kufi cap he's wearing

best places to swim/tube float in Roanoke ?
We get in at bridge street and pop out at wasena park using tubes. Maybe a 2 hour float

Enough Coffee Shops and Breweries....PLEASE
I imagine the liquor laws make opening any kind of divey bar a hassle. Sad because there is ample room for dumpy bars all over the place

Is The Dark Knight Trilogy Still the Best Superhero Trilogy Ever?
I meant more the overall quality. I agree with you that it feels like a pretty random addition

Is The Dark Knight Trilogy Still the Best Superhero Trilogy Ever?
Yeah, I think TDKR is good enough that it doesn't drag the collection down like how some other trilogies have their obvious blunders. superman X-Men, Wolverine trilogy, Raimi Spiderman, Iron Man, and Thor.
Captain America 2 is arguably the best MCU film, but 1 and 3 are just fine. Nothing special. Basically how I feel about all 3 Holland Spiderman films.
Guardians is the MCU's highest quality trilogy. Seems like the 2nd one gets the most flak but it's not a prevalent opinion. It's hard to compare it to a classic super hero movie though because they're really just space operas that exist in the Marvel universe.
The last one I think is pretty consistent is Deadpool. Fun for what it is, but I would not take it over Batman

[KCD2] Why are towns and villages in KCD2 so much smaller, akin to hamlets, whereas in KCD1 they are much more expansive and robust?
It's because a medieval city like Kuttenberg would be surrounded by a network of villages and hamlets. They exist to support the city. There are no towns on the map.
In the first game we are in a rural region dotted with towns with their own little spheres of influence. Makes for a more varied experience.

Draft rankings: Harmon, Nolan, Grant
Would love Grant so we can use Benton more appropriately. I think Benton would be great as Cam's heir to the 3/4 tech spot. Grant looks to be in the mould of these modern NT, like Via and Lawrence, who do more than just eat blocks.

Mel Kiper’s post free agency Mock Draft: Jaxson Dart, welcome to round 1
Sanders seems like the best prospect this go around for the Stefanski offense. I'd be surprised if he isn't the pick at 2. Then try and coach his mechanics which should solve the arm strength too

Looks like Fields chose to leave despite a competitive offer
Yeah, that's probably an improvement. But as with every QB since Ben they can't get a guy who can read a 2nd or 3rd receiver progression to the middle of the field. And Smith likes to keep things in triangles on a single side for the QB to make it easier, so it's damning.
I think Russ just has being an improvising deep ball thrower so ingrained at this point he was unable to adjust to the west coast/shanahan style Art has going on. And the current two high safety defense kills him beyond being unable to run the system

Looks like Fields chose to leave despite a competitive offer
He hasn't seemed to improve going through progressions during 4 years in the NFL. His passes are 1-read bomb or 1-read short pass, and beyond that he holds onto the ball way too long and takes a bunch of sacks for it

New Commanders LT Laremy Tunsil says he understands why the Texans traded him: “They're just trying to keep the young guys together. It's as simple as that. They drafted some young guys, and they hit on every draft pick. They're trying to keep those guys together, so I fully understand."
It's legal in Maryland and Virginia too, although VA doesn't allow recreational sales so it's half assed

Odds of Going Pro In Golf
Like other sports, PGA Tour golfers have a elite skill sets they're born with that hard work will just never get you to. There's an ability to control the minor movements of your body at such a precise level that will never be possible for us. Then a shit load of these dudes are weeded out by dedicating themselves to other sports or never having the financial ability to attempt to go pro.
Becoming a "Club Pro" is probably the most attainable thing for a hard working golfer. And plenty of them aren't even scratch golfers

[Russini] Cooper Kupp’s asking price has been a hold-up for a number of interested teams, per sources. Some suitors have not been willing to offer Kupp a $13-14 million contract.
True, their bar is on the floor. He'll be an interesting case

Yeah, and in 20 years kids will ask who the fuck that guy was and why didn't he do it again

More like Derrick Rose. Kawhi will be a hall of famer. Rose and Kupp will just end up as trivia answers a couple decades from now due to those injuries

[TheScore] Harrison Smith returning to Vikings for 14th season.
No, safeties get in on accolades and vibes

[Cronin] Kyler Gordon: "I love Chicago. I love everything about it. The people, the history, the team, community. This is where God is telling me to be, this is where I will be. It’s where I want to be. As far as an extension, we’ll see what happens."
If I was the Bears, I'd offer him vet min and ask if he dares defy god

[Spotrac] For "The Cap is Fake" crowd... The Saints had to guarantee & convert $40M of Derek Carr's salary this year - a quarterback they no longer want - in order to become cap compliant this week. It's fluid, it can be manipulated - but the bill does always come due.
Teams with cap trouble never struggle to keep their high end talent, so it doesn't come off as there is an issue. But it's hard to keep their middle level talent and depth. They struggle once injuries and fatigue start adding up.

Fav movie Batman?
Same thing for me, it often just feels like Ben Affleck in the Justice League and not Bruce Wayne. In costume he has some great scenes, but he never sells me on being Wayne.

Someone explain the Fields delusion
He's an elite athlete that can produce some of the best highlights from a QB. Big runs and deep throws. And he does it often enough one can bring themselves to hoping he figures the rest out. But he's been terrible at that figuring the rest out part.
Then there's OSU having a huge fan base, and he's a good guy. Lot of people like him

[Pelissero] James Daniels has agreed with the Miami Dolphins
It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Manning clan convinces him to stay in college for 2026. Seems like they're stressing patience and development with him. Both Peyton and Eli finished their degrees too

Charvarius Ward: Colt
Mike Hughes could be a nice slot addition. Fulton and Stokes are risky, mostly bad and injured careers but both had some promising turn arounds in 2024. Wouldn't mind one of them on an incentive type contract

Anybody but Aaron.. please..
He's a mega douche and conspiracy nutcase, that's where most of it comes from. The Jets masterclass in ineptitude last year is the other part. His quarterbacking was mostly fine last year though.
Once they added Davante the passing game looked decent. The defense crated, unsurprisingly, once they fired Saleh and the run game always looked awful.

It was the rape allegation that killed his career. The cannibal fetish is just more memorable
