Been scaremongered , looking for some feedback
 in  r/ElectricVehiclesUK  11h ago

I changed my tyres around 25k miles... But it was sold with cheap ones, and I only needed to change the front (it's a front wheel drive).

Not even touched the brakes yet

Guys in the garage are talking bollocks.

what RFID card?
 in  r/ElectricVehiclesUK  1d ago

OVO Charge app (formerly Bonnet) gives you 10% off for a £2 subscription. You can order an RFID card for it now. Never had any issue with the app and it's usually my Go To (if you decide to give it a try, you can get like £8 of free credit if you sign up and use code RKXQG)

But Electroverse is a good shout too

Welcome to the last month, the worst part of every season
 in  r/FortNiteBR  1d ago

I typically get about 10 a season.

My last season was poor with 4. But I'm currently on 7 this season.

I've worked every single Marvel movie except Iron Man and Incredible Hulk. TikTok trends like this make it way worse.

First time I've experienced a pre-film behaviour briefing in 30+ years
 in  r/movies  2d ago

Yeah, there's a TikTok trend at the moment where kids are going into the screenings of Minecraft to make as much noise and disruption as they can, and filming it for Internet clout.

Similar to the Minions "Gentle Minions" TikTok trend a few years ago where it was roughly the same shit in tuxedos.

Honestly, TikTok and shit that promotes poor behaviour can get in the fucking bin.

Working in a cinema can be bad enough with poor behaviour from teenage groups without the need for some dumbass trend to exacerbate it

What has the worse clean up after the movie
 in  r/MovieTheaterEmployees  2d ago

I remember shortly after Michael Jackson died, his film "This Is It" came out.

One show in particular had just 3 girls in there. Went in there afterwards expecting it to be the usual mess of 3... Couple of wrappers, a popcorn and a drink or two. But no. Popcorn strewn across every single row in the auditorium.

Took me fucking 20 minutes to clean.

There was a short TV series with James Franco on this book.

I prefer the book to be fair.

Which scene from The Naked Gun Trilogy continues to make you laugh even if you haven’t watched the trilogy in a long time?

When he stabs the fish with the pen in the first movie. I was in hysterics the first time I saw that

So because you didn't deal with any, it didn't happen and I'm incorrect? 🙄

We had to remove several groups over the opening weekend of Minions...

Glaswegians, what would you say is a normal or average amount to drink?
 in  r/glasgow  3d ago

Nope. Just booze. Almost every fucking weekend.

I can't remember the last day she was off work and didn't have some sort of drink.

Glaswegians, what would you say is a normal or average amount to drink?
 in  r/glasgow  3d ago

My relationship is currently on a knife edge, to the point where I've gone out to see what sort of mortgage I could get on my own. Due to how much my missus drinks at the weekend.

I've had so many discussions about how much she drinks, and it's good again for a week or two then it's exactly back to where we were before.

Last Sunday was a fucking shitshow. I went to work and she went out to buy booze late morning. She bought 2 bottles of wine (750ml), 2 bottles of Jack Daniels (500ml), and a premix cocktail can. I got home and she was completely trashed. Told her I wasn't taking her to work on the Monday (she's missed so many Mondays at work due to hangovers, I'm surprised she's not on any sort of disciplinary), so she doubles down and orders on ubereats a couple more bottles of wine.

Wakes up Monday morning to me trying to prod her to go to work, phones in saying food poisoning and then cracks on with those two ubereats wines.

Then proceeds to order yet more on ubereats as I'm leaving for work at midday.

Easily spent £100 on booze last weekend. Complete waste of fucking money.

There's some sort of fuckwit TikTok trend like when we had the "Gentle Minions" a couple years back, where the goal is to make as disruption as possible.

Fuck TikTok man.

Excel Parking ordered to pay £10,240 in five-minute parking rule row
 in  r/unitedkingdom  3d ago

I'm all for issuing parking fines if someone didn't pay to park, but if they broke some arbitrary rule like this, fuck these companies.

The ones that issue fines (like this) for not paying quick enough, for not putting their number plate into a machine even though they've paid, for driving through a car park and out again without paying because you didn't park as there were no spaces available.... All of these companies can get in the bin.

Who has priority??
 in  r/drivingUK  3d ago

There is a similar junction round the corner from my house. Red arrow has priority

People going the direction of the green arrow wanting to turn right sometimes use the filter for the red arrow direction to sit in in order to cross the 2 lanes of traffic, but it's never really been an issue.

What you experienced was a dickhead
