3 times. First when my mom was dying. The second when I thought someone had broken in. The third was when I'd been robbed & then hit by the robbers car.

I hard ghosted my cousin when he wouldn't stop demanding old family stuff that I couldn't feasibly send him. He kept claiming he'd travel to get it, but never did then would ghost me for months & act like he never stood me up & ask for the family crap again. Totally ignoring that almost every time he sent this demand that I was in the hospital due to chronic illness & completely unable to do anything even if I wanted to & never asked how I was doing. What finally got me was when I was celebrating getting out of the hospital (had been there 3 weeks) & had the all clear to drink for the first time in who knows how long, so I celebrated. Of course my cousin messages me while I'm drunk & again, asks for the crap, ignoring I'd just gotten out of the hospital. I told him I'd talk later & told him I was drinking. He then (an active alchoholic) began berating me for drinking & how that's must be the reason I haven't sent him the family crap yet. I went off on him & haven't replied or talked to him sense. He still messages once in a while asking for the boxes of family crap, but I ignore him completely.

TLDR; my cousin annoyed the crap out of me & ignored my well being, stood me up, criticised me for celebrating, & all in the supposed pursuit of old family crap that no one (including him at the time) wanted. So I ghosted him & am practically no contact.

My husband probably did, but it took me a bit. Mainly because I didn't believe in "soulmates" or anything like that. I didn't even consider myself the type to ever get married. Here I am though 11 years on & I couldn't imagine life without him. If he ever passed away, I think that'd be the end of my romantic life. I just can't imagine ever finding someone who makes me feel like my husband does.

The women looks like a lot of the old school hippy hikers & nature lovers I see a lot at my local rivers & campgrounds. Think you got a surprise visit from one of these people lol. Some of them are so use to being out in the woods that they can move silently, I've been spooked & startled a fair few times while camping just to be asked if I had a joint lol.

Total goals. If I were ever a teacher or worked at a school, this is the kinda example I'd want to be.

I simply think of her or call out to her & she always finds away to point me where I needed to be. She's directed & protected me even when I didn't even realize or know it at the time. Yes & no. I care more if the company is exploiting the people doing the work (which is hard to avoid when shopping). Otherwise not really, as long as the product is made sufficiently & the right price then I'm good.

I can kinda get why some people might, but I otherwise very much agree with the OP. My husband & I have been together 11 years & ive never once felt the need to snoop, but I trust him & visa versa. We also often will often use eachothers phones. Mainly to answer messages for eachother or to use an app or space the others phone doesn't have available. We're very open, to the point I know what kind of porn he has & all of that. Not because I snoop, but because he tells me lol. I couldn't imagine being with someone I was constantly suspicious of. Relationships, romantic & otherwise have to have trust & open communication.

The women on tiktok & the ones you are seeing on other media are just the loudest, not the majority. The internet & social media platforms algorithm shove out the loudest & most controversial of any group. So don't take what you're seeing on tiktok to Seriously. I'm married & my husband isn't 6ft nor make 6 figures lol. In fact I'm the tall one. I'm 6ft & he's 5 11". He also works at a gas station. I'm not with him for money, status or any of that. I was attracted to him because he's kind, funny & has a good head on his shoulders. We've been together 11 years now. Money & height only matter to those who don't know what they really want in a relationship on a personal level. So please don't get discouraged. Try disconnecting from social media for a bit & maybe try just being around others, socializing or not. I use to do this when I'd get discouraged & it helped remind me that most interactions & people aren't like that.

I can totally get the candle thing. I personally use candles a lot, but I don't really read into what it or the wax may do for the same reason you stated. Cuz idk if it's the manufacturer or what. Though if you come to find a reliable candles producer that can be a big help. I personally like using mainstay tea lights. But for me the candle is more of a focal point for the meditation rather than for signs. Tarot cards have a good history of being used for connection & meditation. It's a good alternative.

To answer the question though, I'm not big on working with ancestors, like someone else mentioned. My family sucks lol. Only maybe 3 members of the family have I ever had a positive reaction or interaction with so that doesn't work well for me. Which can mean a little extra tweaking when I use hoodoo practices. And as I stated above I'm not the most active lol. I only work my magic (so to speak) maybe once a month & that's usually for good luck or Prosperity to help with bills lol. Most of my "witchy time" or practice time is spent researching, noting things down & skimming or reading through my books on deities, witchcraft, folklore, etc... I'm kinda lazy I guess lol. It's just what works for me.

Every witch or practitioner is different & so is their path. We all take different routes. So don't worry & don't think you need to conform to what others might be doing. Otherwise, I don't think most of us would be here on these trecks if conformity was the goal.

I have had 2 of these events in my life. First when I was 7 & moved across country to never see my dad or home again. And one when I was 17 & my mom passed away & i was left all alone in the world.

Get a steady job. Been dealing with chronic illness for nearly a decade & unable to work minus the low impact odd job. I'm hoping to get my shit together & start bringing home some cash to hopefully build a savings for my partner & I to finally get married.
