Trump trashes China for ignoring his warning not to retaliate over tariffs
 in  r/worldnews  4h ago

This is his MO bc he was born rich.

I’ve been in business for decades and know his type too well. You know what the “Art of the Deal” is?

Being rich enough to take advantage of people with limited resources.

Can’t meet his demands? You lost, he wins. Even when you go to his competitor and the competitor does it for a better price and establishes a long term partnership that Trump could have had if he weren’t so fixated on “winning”.

Then he goes around telling everyone the person “couldn’t meet his request so they lost.” Meanwhile his competitor is quietly eating his lunch.

This is who we have negotiating the economy right now, and this is why he’s such a failed businessman.

Dumping into bitcoin rn?
 in  r/btc  4h ago

No one knows the answer. If anyone did, they probably wouldn’t be freely sharing it anyways.

If you don’t have an emergency fund of six months of expenses, don’t even think about it.

You have to do what’s right for you, but as the saying goes, be greedy when others are fearful. Sometimes the hardest time to click that buy button is the best time to do so.

Highly individualized though. If you need that money in the next year or so, I’d recommend staying out.

It’s an easy decision for the Warren Buffetts of the world bc they have a safety net the size of Earth.

What is your commission/amount per dollar for renewals?
 in  r/CustomerSuccess  14h ago

This is the smart thing to do. And when there is a change to a commission plan, make sure to figure out exactly how it affects you.

I had a plan one time where you could more easily leverage accelerators in certain quarters. I’d try to close as much as I could in that time frame.

That is wild. I’d be fucking rolling in dough if that were the case. 😆

OP seems thoughtful and smart. If you’re walking around with a gun for no reason at all, you’re probably not smart and you’re definitely a coward.

Where are the 40-something’s hiding at?
 in  r/AskMenAdvice  16h ago

Definitely! Although I wouldn’t call it “out-manning”. I’ve dated too many bad ass women to know there is no such thing.

Hope you and your friend meet your match some day.

If Kamala Harris had beaten Donald Trump in the election, how do you think the United States would be doing today?
 in  r/AskReddit  16h ago

Unfortunately they don’t understand the economy and neither does Trump.

Cool, Donald, let’s see you bring back the factory jobs your fucking generation sent overseas decades ago. Then what? You’ll give everyone factory jobs for $8 an hour? Meanwhile the company that used to get their factory labor from Vietnam for $2.50/hr raises their prices 4x bc they’re paying Americans minimum wage now?

Let’s see how many factory workers want to make minimum wage while the cost of goods skyrockets 400%.

Making America Great Again. Wooo hoo.

 in  r/AskReddit  19h ago

Thanks, I’m doing great. Had therapy for a couple years, switched jobs because I was working way too much, and happily single.

I’ll stay single and die alone before I settle for anything short of amazing love.

Dow future's down 1,500 points in first half hour of Sunday trading. Looks like the bloodbath will continue. How are we feeling?
 in  r/AskReddit  19h ago

Greatest deals of all time!

Hopefully we can bring those $2/hr manufacturing jobs back to the great U S of A. you can afford to pay 2x the price of all goods because now Americs will have 2,000 more jobs at the factory, paying $6/hr.

Sorry bud. I 100% am. My family are all Trumpers, and I literally said prior to the election.

“I’m so sick of hearing about this guy, I kind of hope he does win bc he’ll tank the economy and y’all can see what an idiot he is finally.”

Wish granted. Enjoy Mr. Silver Spoon Bone Spurs. Born rich and too cowardly to go to war.

True American Patriot.

Where are the 40-something’s hiding at?
 in  r/AskMenAdvice  20h ago

I’m a man in my early 40s. I usually end up dating women in their 30s because that’s the age range where some are still single but wanting to settle down.

When I go out I always get hit on by mid-20s women who are not the age range I want to date. But when I see 30-40s women, they all have rings on.

I feel like a lot of women get tied up in bad marriages or have kids and literally only exit their marriages once they’ve had or considered an affair. Then you have to deal with them being hung up on some dude they had an affair with, or they end up marrying the guy they had an affair with.

I’m single, successful, have a full life with many hobbies. I’m single bc I can’t find a woman that matches what I’m offering. No drama, no recent exes, successful, physically and mentally healthy, etc.

Everyone asks why I’m single and it’s an easy answer. I’m doing fine and don’t want an anchor slowing/bringing me down.

Oh right, y’all love the “lib tears”.

It’s okay tho, it comes full circle because as a liberal, I think it’s funny y’all voted for a guy that fucks everyone over, including you.

I find it even funnier y’all still think we’re crying about it. Nope, we’re amused by the MAGA crew cutting off their noses to spite their face. 😆

This is part of their playbook. Too many changes to keep track of so everyone gets overwhelmed

“There’s going to be some pain, he knew that.”

It’s okay because “he knew”. Like that time he said he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and still get elected. Now if he did that’d probably be okay because I mean, he did say he could after all…

Republicans hate this one trick!

It’s laughter. They hate it. Mostly because their options for comedy are a guy with a puppet who does stereotypes and a pretend cable repairman who fakes a southern accent.

At what age do men start seeing a decline in their sex drive and have performance issues?
 in  r/AskMenAdvice  23h ago

Is it though? I’ve had low testosterone much of my life due to health issues and have never had any drive/erection issues.

I’m not craving sex as much as when I was young, but I still want it.

I’m fairly physically fit naturally, so no blood pressure issues.

I’ve also been fortunate that I have no refractory period after sex. I can keep an erection through orgasm and continue until my partner cannot.  That ability has always thankfully made sure I never want for a long term girlfriend when I want one.

What is a pain you can't truly explain until you've endured it?
 in  r/AskReddit  1d ago

I’m sorry. That’s such a shame that it’s such a low bar for him to be there and he still doesn’t.

It’s interesting bc on another comment I mentioned divorce when you don’t want it as a reply to something similar to your spouse dying and got downvoted.

Just goes to show how humans are fairly bad at realizing the extent of how other people feel unless they’ve felt it themselves. Everyone whose spouse died adamantly disagreeing just because they can’t imagine something more painful. There’s always something more painful in life.

Somewhat related, I always feel like I missed out on guidance in life simply because my parents have seemingly been on auto-pilot since birth.

They didn’t go to college, They got jobs, they got married, they had two children, they’ve stayed married for 50 years, they’ve always been financially secure.

In a lot of ways I just can’t connect with them bc they can’t comprehend how much pain and loneliness I’ve felt in life.

Literally nothing bad has ever happened to them, so we don’t really have any common ground.

 in  r/AskReddit  1d ago

I always have said losing your spouse in divorce must be worse than them dying. Not to compare pain, but it does help to empathize with people whose spouse died.

Divorce is just the “that sucks” without the grief support , celebration of life of your partner, etc.

People you thought were friends suddenly pick a side and act like you don’t exist anymore.

No one understands how painful and life changing it is until they go through it.

I know what it feels like from divorce and I’ve always said it was worse than her dying. Because I know she’s out there living her life, just not wanting me in it anymore.

I’m finally over it as of a few years ago, but haven’t been able to love anyone since. Don’t think I ever will again.

Number 1 isn’t a mystery. For every one person who despises dogs off leash, a person who loves dogs off leash is spawned.

It is a known fact of the world.
