Ok, how did you do that?

Curious if anyone has tried/succeeded with this...

More along the lines of colonizing the whole planet, although restoring the ruins would be awesome!

I guess you wouldn't have to tear EVERYTHING down, like background tiles for example, but definitely enough to make it your own domain.

That's a good day.

Supported the game a couple years ago, but fairly new to the community. So, I apologize if the answer to this is well-known. Has anyone successfully colonized a whole planet?

Edit: Changed "rebuilt" to "colonized."

How can you tell if you're in a good/bad part of town?

I've never seen the single cigarettes one! I thought that was just prison and shelters.

Mr. Tompkins. He had the biggest fist.

Is there any downside to doing first 2 of 4 years at a community college?
 in  r/personalfinance  Sep 24 '16

I don't know about where you live, but in my state, a community college associate degree guarantees admission to any state university and lines up quite well with the curriculum, allowing you to finish in 4 years, if your journey is fairly standard. The only reasons I wouldn't do CC first are:

  1. If you're starting off at an advanced level for which your CC doesn't offer courses (like if you should be in calculus 3 but they only have 1 and 2 or something)

Or

  1. You have a great group of friends who are good for you and are going elsewhere, and you'd like to join them.

Those are my two cents from personal experience.

A pharmacy professor looked up students twitter accounts after an exam. The next class day he decided to put them on the screen before lecture. These are some of the results.
 in  r/funny  Sep 24 '16

They do exist, it's just that in many cases, college professors aren't expected to be teachers anymore. Attending a lecture should not be a total waste of time. I've had some really great professors and some pretty terrible ones.

Modifying gslp to my aim. Suggestions?
 in  r/Fitness  Sep 16 '16

It will. Imo, your goal should be to establish habits that will set you up for a lifetime of good health. Good form is just an aspect of practicing the patience and humility it takes to get there. Hard work is key, but personally, it's really easy for me to put in the work if I know I'm doing things the right way for the right reasons.

Don't let that frustrate you. Sometimes it's easier to get up to high weights with bad form (depending on what you're doing wrong) but it only ends in imbalance and injury. Doing things the right way is usually harder and/or slower, but you will be better off for it in the long run.

What is the greatest motivator for one to stay fit?
 in  r/AskReddit  Sep 15 '16

Working at a cardiology clinic. I imagine many other specialties are the same because being overweight wreaks havoc on your body, but my experience is with cardiology.

Is rigging that up then getting your couch through the back porch door really any easier than carrying it down the stairs?

I'm with this guy. Lose the ego and do air squats with perfect form until you can do the same with a bar. If you are patient and humble enough to get the form right, you will have much better gains and longevity in the weight room.

This is 'Keys'. She keeps putting her paws in the air and nobody knows why.

This isn't a cat. It's a slow loris, and it's putting its hands in the air because it's terrified. #tickletorture

What moba is good to start with for someone who has never played, doesn't know a lot about the genre but is curious.

Do heroin instead. It's about the same investment in time and resources but the community is a lot more chill.

I'm afraid JTGhawk137 may be right. Maybe you should take a break, focus on your life goals, and then maybe one day you'll get the calling once more.
