Beginner 😞I need help

Post image

Hi my name is Buck and I need help mainly just making this painting more interesting or improving on what I can do before I start this is not to disrespect any religion, I am religious myself and it is only use to express myself through the only way I know how to and the only way that feels comfortable for me and myself not for you and yourself. But anyway not sure what I can add to the composition to make it more eye catching. Thank you if you help 😿

I made this with Krita, I'm not really good at shadows so I was wandering how well do you think this piece turned out. Is there anything I could do better ?. Any other criticism/advice you wanna share ?

I’m thinking there’s something missing here, maybe. My husband says it’s done.

Things I could add:

1- flip flops on the tiles 2- make a few tiles look wet, as if someone has climbed out or jumped in 3- feet or legs swimming off the painting in the bottom 4- a white pool border (extra set of tiles)

Any other suggestions are welcome.

But essentially, what do you think?

I usually prefer my paintings to have a sense of mystery/uneasiness in them, so I like the “not sure how far away/big this is meant to be” aspect, which would essentially be ruined by adding objects that would create a scale.

Beginner More pose practice with basic shapes. What do you guys think?

Tried to use different shapes for the hips and ribcage. the boxy feet stayed tho, but then again, at some places, the feet are different.

Intermediate What sort of emotions does this give off, and in what areas could I improve?

I’ve always kinda zoned out and let my hand do its own thing, so usually it’s just non-objective scribbles. The other night, this came out of me and took me completely by surprise as I’ve not drawn a face in years, let alone one I was actually happy with. All that said, what are the vibes, and broadly, what can I improve?

Beginner Need advice on this digital drawing!

The biggest things I noticed: I struggled a lot with the clothing and I feel like it looks awful, the hand position doesn’t make sense with the angle of the wrist, I don’t think I did well rendering the hair and I feel like it might be too close in value to the background, I was also told that the lipstick on her hand looks like her nails and makes it look like her fingers are backwards

Would love advice on how to improve for my next piece, also general advice on digital art would be great since I don’t have much experience with it

Beginner Trying to find a voice - or a subject matter - or something?

Hello! I am very new to drawing, but I’m absolutely in love with it. Up until three months ago the best I could draw would be a box or a basic chair. My problem is that I can only draw what I see. Which means all of my drawings are of everyday, relatively boring objects. I am not going for realism - I would like to be an expressive drawer. If you have any suggestions for subject matter or something else that would lend itself to a “voice” in my drawings, I would appreciate it. As well as an honest critique of some recent work.
