Stopped by the Dollar Tree off of Cornwall Saturday around 11. I try to park by Dollar Tree but theres no room so I move over by The Bridge church where there is a small crowd of people getting out of their cars and walking by with their signs up for the protest. I let them go first, I'm in no rush and Fuck the Fed so all power to the people protesting. A few generic signs go by calling for an end to fascism and how fucked the government is (based) but then I notice someone holding a sign that reads;

Mandatory Vasectomies,

Reversible, unlike pregnancy

A small box of text next to the header said "Stop women's trauma"

So.. I don't know if this one a one off pro-life sign mixed in with the lot or some counter protest in response to everything else but like,

What the fuck is wrong with you? I am a father to be and I swear on everything above and below that I would THROW HANDS ON AN APOCALYPTIC SCALE if anyone tried to have mandatory sterilization or contraception enforced on my son or daughter. When the time comes to worry about those issues it'll be their choice because it's their bodies and I don't give a flying fuck what a government body or bitch with a sign says.

Hoping this is allowed- has anyone else bought expect a miracle mushroom chocolate from smoke world on samish? I was sold this being told it contained penis envy psilocybin mushrooms and it’s definitely just regular chocolate. I paid $50 for this. I have experience with shrooms and though I haven’t had them in a couple months, the last time I had any was albino penis envy but it was just straight dried mushrooms. I ate 7 pieces of this chocolate bar which according to the back of the box was more than enough and it did absolutely nothing. And I mean nothing I kept waiting for it to do something, no giggles no come up NOTHING. it also tastes like regular chocolate. Please don’t waste your money on this shit.

Hi everyone my friend and I are looking for a SUPER beginner hike for tomorrow (like extremely beginner, maybe no more than 2-3 miles round trip with very little incline, like something you’d recommend to your grandma) with somewhere to jump in some water and swim. I know the weather is not jump in the water friendly but my nervous system is in need of a nice reset lol. Somewhere where the water (river, lake, etc.) maybe isn’t super public and the trail is nice and woody! TIA!!

Edit: seems like a gray whale after more observation. Saw its little hump on the most recent breath it took. I didn't think gray whales came into the bay, so I was skeptical!

I’m a fellow Canadian, who visited you guys with my friend yesterday for a quick Costco grab and exploring the city. It was my first but definitely not the last time there.

Although I went back yesterday itself, I haven’t seen people more friendlier than you guys anywhere in the US.

Everyone was very kind and friendly, every passerby was passing a smile and when I told them I’m from Canada, damn they became even more friendly.

This is just a thank you note for being one of the most kind hearted people I have seen.
