Hi everyone, I’ve become completely infatuated with the idea of an Irish Spice Bag( i know it’s lame). So im curious if any place would have one? Thanks!

What/where did you eat this past weekend? What are some spots you plan to check out this week? Any recommendations?

Hi!
I'll be visiting Toronto with my family a week from now, and I was wondering whether any of you have any favorite "specialty" restaurants in/around downtown Toronto :)
By which I mean restaurants that are especially great at a particular dish or type of dish - eg. the best empanadas/khachapuri/dosas/cheung fun, etc.
I've gotten a bunch of tips for restaurants specializing in various cuisines, but I'd love to know more about your go-to places for specific dishes.
Thanks in advance 🙏

Hey there British tourists coming to Toronto 11th - 16th April. Would it the festival be worth it for us or should we stick to restaurants/cafes/bars of the city? We're heading to a leafs game on the 11th and bluejays game on the 15th. Also any must eat places? We're up for Sushi, Thai and of course pancakes 🥞🥞. Thanks in advance!

Pretty much that - looking for recommendations for tempura. I'm in the core of Old Toronto but anywhere along the streetcar/subway routes is good.

Hi everyone! I’m looking to order a charcuterie board for a birthday celebration and was hoping to find some recommendations for places in Toronto that offer beautiful boards at a reasonable price. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much in advance! 😊🎉 #TorontoEats #Charcuterie #BirthdayCelebration

Title says it all; what are great bites within 15 min walk of ROM?
List thus far (most I've tried not all though):
- Kenzo ramen
- Pitaland
- Gyubee
- Eataly

So I went to Demetres tonight to have my favourite white chocolate ice cream sundae and found the flavour is no longer available. It's been available for as long as I can remember going to Demetres (at least 15 years) but apparently it's been permanently removed with a Macha (with only a hint of white chocolate) and something with saffron in it.
I asked the waiter working and she shared in my sadness that the white chocolate was gone; she said that a new owner (didn't know what had been sold) of Persian descent has introduced flavours that are more compatible with that culture. That's fine, but don't take away my white chocolate ice cream!

Any chill coffee shop open on Sundays with really good pastries?
Would like a place that I can take my laptop out and work/chill for a few hours.
Anywhere downtown Toronto.
Thanks,

What restaurant in Toronto has the best private room for 10+

I'll be passing through Union to Pearson on a Monday early evening. Any recommendations for something tasty and on the weird side? I'd prefer not chains/chain pubs. Caribbean? Funky Belgian beers? Dive bars? Somewhere I wouldn't stick out too much as a single diner. Totally willing to take a short transit hop/Uber.

Happy weekend!
I'm on the hunt for Finnish candy, especially the saltiest licorice I can find.
Any other kind of Finnish candy or chocolate (where do you even get Fazer chocolate in Toronto any more?!) or Swedish candy or anything remotely like any of the above would be amazing.
Thank you!

I have noticed quite a few places that used to offer take-out all week through Ambassador, Square, other Point of Sale apps, or 3rd party pick-up/delivery apps are no longer offering take-out on Saturday nights, presumably because they're busy enough with dine in customers
Which restaurants are you aware of that are good and offer take-out on Saturday nights?
I'm trying Bindi's tonight, which uses Square.

Best places to eat
So planning a weekend trip this summer to see a concert at Budweiser stage it’ll be my first time in Toronto and was wondering if anyone could give me any good food recommendations in the area?

By far my fav Ethiopian on Bloor West! Tibs, Doro Wat, and assorted vegetarian for two that easily feeds 3/4. To die for!! So underrated. Only other spot that compares is Lucy’s on the east end.

Hello! Many moons ago when Burritos were kind of the new popular fast food thing here (I think like 2001-2006ish) all the big chains/popular spots (Burrito Boyz, Big Fat Burrito, Burrito Banditos, etc) had chorizo as a main protein option for their food. I can only find Chorizo tacos now, and only at smaller joints. I love these big stupid burritos and want my chorizo back. What's the deal! Is there a shortage? Is it just no longer popular?!

Serious question. Going to get some kebab and Nihari on Gerrard tomorrow and want to go to some truly unpleasant bars on the way. What you got?

Hi Toronto foodies! Hoping for some help on a herb ID.
I’ve been buying the basil on the right, as I know it’s Thai basil. After seeing multiple posts over the years of people trying to track down Holy Basil with little luck, I just assumed it wasn’t really available in Toronto.
But is that herb on the right actually Holy Basil?!
For years I figured it was maybe some kind of mint based on the leaves, but the stem actually looks pretty similar to the Thai basil?

I’m half Trini and I wanted to introduce my friend to try some Trini dishes. What Trini restaurants (specifically more downtown and North York) that would be great to visit? I usually make my own Trini food but sometimes I don’t feel like making roti
