MH Wilds Now that Shockproof is a skill

I better see every one of you longsword weebs sloting this on your build. No more "just slot flinch free bro". Slot this level 1 deco and you can no longer flinch your teammates with that 8 foot flagpole of a weapon.

For every longsword main I catch not using this skill I will eat 1 baby Seikret for dinner. No exceptions.

Did you know that longsword is not the only weapon that can trip?

I swear, this community made it its identity to bitch about longsword. Whether it's too strong, too weak, or it tripped people in a game released 15 years ago, you'll find a reason.

Doesn't matter that other weapons trip too, and some are actually even more disruptive with attacks that launch you or sending people flying with wyvernfire, y'all going to still be "DAE LONGSWORD BAD?!"

1# Long Sword has the widest tripping range of any other blade master weapon
2# Long Sword is by far the most popular and widely used weapon which means they are extemely common in random SOS
3# Being the most used weapons also means it has both the most amount of both skilled and unskilled players wielding the Long sword, that means that we experienced more unskilled Long Sword users compared to unskilled users of any other weapons and guess what unskilled Long Sword users tend to do in multiplayer? Tripping.

No, it's because of confirmation bias and meme culture. It's socially acceptable to shit on longsword users. You'll find people who go "ye, bro, I play hamma and launch them all the time!" and get upvoted all the time. Even people who just kick those who use particular weapons.

Then reddit will turn around and create one of these cringe "THIS COMMUNITY SO AMAZING" posts. Yea, it is... unless you are playing one of the pariah weapons.

It's not the only weapon, but it's the most commonly used weapon with the widest hit box of any other blademaster weapon, while also having a fairly fast attack speed.

no it isnt, its a meme from gen4, LS hasnt been tripping people except for the counter attack I believe, since gen 5, in gen 5 and now gen 6, the worst offenders are IG/ DBs and Bow, all three can stunlock someone to death.

Try a heavy weapon yourself and with three other people with LS and DB, you will see. Don't give the flinch free or shockproof excuse as i lose slots for my equipment abilities.
