MH Wilds Some guy was pissed about shielded weapons

I joined this quest to hunt a tempered Arkveld because it had a unholy amount of rewards and this guy was who I joined was running the hunting horn. Anyhow this guy began to get angry because he was trying to max out DPS or something. To be honest I don't know but anyhow, he wasn't happy that I was using Gunlance and told me to get off it for two reasons, weapons with guards are inherently no skill by design, and guarding takes away from DPS. Anyhow he proceeded to text something to the other guy who joined which was a SnS telling him to get off SnS or don't block. He spent most of the hunt texting lmao

This isn't anything extreme but it was amusing to me and I wanted to share

This is why I play solo because I prefer to capture cause I loved seeing my captures in Astera and hope to again have this return one day. Plus, I like seeing my stats as capture instead of killing. If I like the monster, I capture. If I don't like it, kill it.

I like capture because my head canon is the guild relocates them somewhere away from civilians so they can live out their lives in peace, maybe a nature reserve or something. Unless the monsters being a little bitch, then I peel the fucker and make shoes

I've found my people, my head Canon is that as monster hunters, we're supposed to capture mostly, otherwise we'd be called monster slayers. Relocation and research are our job, not killing.
