So, if the perpetrators are masked, and in unmarked cars with no identification, can you shoot them claiming you were being kidnapped?

Legally yes. Realistically the law means absolutely nothing these days and you will just be murdered while Republicans cheer your death.

Yes, they will propably outnumber and outgun you, so the notion that you can "just shoot them" is a naive fiction. Also, they are not going to warn you, but will jumping you at some random moment where you dont expect it and you will be handcuffed before you have time to react.

This is not an action movie where the hero can just fight 10 bad guys and win at any time.

Guess we better just bend over for the illegal authoritarian regime. They’re scary and they have guns after all. It’s the sensible thing to do. It’s how this country was founded, oh wait
