Girl question

Have any women noticed any changes in vaginal discharge or smell? I’ve read online w semaglutide this can be a side effect but am not sure if anyone else has experienced this? It’s def a very different change in smell, at first thought it could be BV and took medication but it still came back. There was a month I did not take my shots and things did change but now that I’ve started again, I’ve noticed the same issue.

I DREAD shot days

The first few months I was on SG, I was really nauseous all the time. That has subsided, but I still dread shot days. Dread isn’t even a strong enough word to use here. Some days, I can’t even bring myself to take it. The thought of it alone makes me nauseous. Anyone else have this issue?

Online prescribers?

Are there any prescribers online that let you use insurance and only pay for the co-pay for the visit and prescription? I’m struggling to sort through all the options online and it seems that many of them require payment out of pocket.

Crazy fluctuations

Does anyone else have CRAZY fluctuations in their weight? (It’s probably partially because I’m pretty heavy to start with.) It’s not uncommon for my weight to fluctuate 10-15 pounds over the course of a couple of days, all while “maintaining” my “base” weight (my recent low weight). My weight depends on so much — water intake, sodium intake, time of the month, even how much I’ve slept can affect it. But once all the bloat evens out I know the scale will be near my recent low weight reading. That’s why I try not to get too freaked out by the huge swings. But it’s hard not to think I’m fucking up when I swing so wildly in the wrong direction…

NSV: 1X, 14 Plus, & 15 walk into a closet…😭🫠😂

So I’m somewhere between Fat Jeans and Pre-Fat Jeans. A liminal denim space. An awkward, stretchy purgatory. You know that weird weight loss stage where everything is either falling off or cutting off your circulation? 🫠

That’s where I live now.

So naturally, I do what any Type A, hella impatient, and hella annoyed, thick-thighed girl would do: I go online and order jeans.

But why the hell does FashionNova have 37 different sizes for the same body?!

I’m in between sizes already, and then they hit me with a 15, a 14 Plus, and a 1X.

Like infuriating much???

What is even the difference??

Is 15 juniors and 14+ grown? Is 1X just… vibes?

I had no idea, so in true chaotic-neutral fashion, I bought all three.

Same exact jeans—Classic High Waist Stretch Jeans (because we don’t play with that low rise demon energy)—in black, olive, brown, dark blue, and light blue.

I got: - Size 15 in black
- Size 1X in black
- Size 14+ in olive

Yes, I know it’s dramatic. But this was science people!

The packaging was standard—shrink wrapped -stinky- plastic and enough tissue paper to swaddle a newborn.

And then came the moment of truth: The Try-On.

If you’ve ever tried squeezing thick calves, thighs, or anything really into skinny jeans, you already know the drill.

You pull, you wiggle, you do a little hop, and eventually you either give up or get them past your ass with a prayer and a pelvic thrust.

And here’s the wild part:
They all fit. THE SAME.

Deadass. Every single pair fit exactly the same, with the slightest bit of extra room in the 1X at the waist and, like, the front-uterus-area (technical term). So if you’re apple-shaped, that’s your girl. Otherwise? These “different” sizes are basically identical.

In conclusion: I kept them all. Because I didn’t have to return anything and honestly? That’s the win. No deeper meaning. No profound revelation about body image or the patriarchy of sizing charts.

Just five pairs of jeans and the knowledge that FashionNova’s size chart is nothing but vibes and chaos… albeit much smaller than my last order 😭😭😭

Anyone else’s hair falling out?

Clumps on my brushes, hairs on my clothing, the floor, the sofa… it’s like I live with a sheep dog shedding constantly. I exceeded my goal by a couple of pounds some weeks back so I pushed myself to gain back to my goal, but I am still shedding. I don’t know if this might be the sema, perimenopause, or something else. Will definitely go in for a dr checkup and blood tests but wanted to see if this was happening to anyone else. And how did you remedy it. Started taking a multivitamin and some biotin supplements. Just forked up some money for Nutrafol. Help!

Using half the recommendation?

I’m currently on 1.5 mg, however I skipped a month because of sickness, travel, etc. I understand typically you need to go back down but I still have three shots left at this dose. Can I give myself half the amount of units for example instead of 60 units just 30 units to ease back into it? What are my options here?

Anxiety/panic

I’ve been on Sema for nearly 2 years. Just a couple weeks ago I got what I’d call anxiety and panic attacks. All I take is approx 1mg Sema (skye pep) and Zyrtec, magnesium vitamin d and iron supplements. Tonight would be my shot night but unsure if I should continue it. I quit the vitamin d and mangesium week ago and it didn’t help.

Mental clarity

I’m on week 2 of sema. The first week was UGLY, but this second week I feel “normal”. I realize how addicted to food I was and with the food noise being gone, I feel like I can think about more things. It’s helped me recently and I’ve already lost 5lbs!

My doctor would like to put me on Zepbound ... how do you deal with the excitement while waiting??

I figure I'm 3-4 weeks out from actually beginning to take this medication. I get my labs done this weekend and my follow-up appt is on the 21st.

I'm beyond excited. I've been doing nonstop reading, brainstorming how I'll change my daily routine, etc. The wait is killing me!

Please share any stories, advice, etc. about the beginning of this journey to help me pass the time!

BROKE MY PLATEAU!

I'm floating on air right now with happiness! It's taken since December to go past 237-244. 233 even! 5 more pounds til 100! I'm officially at 40 BMI which is just at the borderline where I can get approved for my knee replacement.

I have started going to aqua physical therapy for about a month now like 1x a week bc of transportation and pain issues but I'm aiming for 2x. I do 100 leg quad lifts every other day and resistance bands the other days on upper body. I added a ton of protein and try to eat as cleanly as possible. Mostly chicken and fish. Veggies and fruit. I have a cheat day too but who doesn't.

Plateaus can be broken I am proof!!!!!

I started my semaglutide shot about 2 months ago now & tell me why all I can do now is puke. I really was adjusting to it well for a minute but all of the sudden I’m back with tons of nausea & puking in the morning. Is it like this for everyone I’m a mother & while I’m young & strong I’m recently feeling so weak.

Waking up at 5am starving

I’m (27f) on 1.7 of Wegovy and have had no side effects what so ever. But for some reason even if I count calories and make sure I’m eating enough protein and fibre I wake up starving in the middle of the night/ early morning. Always around 4-6am.

And even while sleeping I often get nightmares that feel like they’re from low blood sugar. Usually I have to eat something when I wake up in order to go back to sleep, but it destroys my sleep quality and I wake up feeling like crap.

This has been going on and off for weeks and I feel like a zombie!

What am I doing wrong??

Starting Semaglutide when sick

I have had quite a bad flu and have been taking cold/flu medication.

Should I delay starting Semaglutide until the cold/flu meds are out of my system? Or am I overthinking it?

Issues with mental health

Anyone else have problems with being uninterested interacting with friends, family, partner? Been on the highest dose for a little over two months now and I feel super disconnected to people. I don’t want to interact, feel extra tired from normal conversations, generally just want to stay home and be alone. It’s frustrating and confusing because I’m feeling lonely but have no motivation to hang out with people.

Recurring fevers for over a month...

Hello Everyone...

So my wife and I started Ozempic in January of 2025. I was 407 and am now down to 380. We started with 2 units and I got up to 15 units. About a month or so ago, I got my first dose of 15 units (I believe it is 0.75mg) and did fine the first few days. Then I started not being able to have a BM.

I also take suboxone and have been on it for about 4 years, never had any issue with it beyond occasional constipation.

So, since it wasn't the first time I've experienced this sort of lock down, I didn't assume at first it had anything to do with semaglutide injections, but then after researching it I saw a lot of people experience this. It basically feels like my bowels are swollen or blocked because there is nothing there ready to come out (sorry for the tmi) it just feels like something is structurally wrong when this happens. So I have been experiencing this on and off for the past month, mostly on if I'm being honest. I have to take miralax, senna, and eventually when nothing happens I have to take dulcolax which usually results in an extremely painful BM where I do get most of it out, but it is very not fun...

Regardless, I skipped my next 15 unit dose while dealing with the lock down and fever that came with it as I assumed the first time it was likely the flu or covid since they are going around. I got better for a couple weeks, so I went back to the 15mg the third week. Same thing, it started off fine, then eventually lockdown, low grade fevers, body aches, chills, skin sensativity, etc... Got better for a few days, then right back to it again... So now it's been 4 days and I get a fever that is hard to get rid of daily, I can't poop, I am weak, I can't do much of anything. I ended up skipping my dose last week and my next one is suppose to be tomorrow and I think I just have to stop until I can figure out what is going on...

I see some other people have experienced similarish things, but I haven't found anything that quite lines up. I went to the ER March 31st and they did some blood tests, a couple of blood cultures, a urinalysis, a CT on my abdomen and pelvis, and everything came back normal except my ph in my urine was slightly high. Normal range is 4-8 mine was a 9, whereas my last couple tests it had been an 8. I have a history of kidney stones so idk if it could potentially be a kidney stone... I only have pain in my lower left side which is pretty mild most of the time. I am 32 years old, male, no major health history except I had wpw when I was 13 and sepsis in my lungs in 2017 which was a close call. The recurring fevers is the thing that is really bothering me since I'm sure it can't mean anything good. But I just don't know and am hoping anyone here might have a similar experience or any advice that might be helpful. I can't get in to see my doctor til the 10th, but I'm going crazy.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Throwing up yellow stomach bile

I’ve been on 0.5 Semaglutide since December. My symptoms until now have been mild - moderate but manageable until this past dosage. For a week now I have been nauseous, throwing up everything I eat, and then dry heaving yellow stomach bile. I have also been waking up with severe anxiety every morning. Has anyone else experienced this? Im scared there is a more serious underlying problem. I’m stopping the medication because I can’t handle this.

Semaglutide and Period

Hi I’m sorry for the TMI. But I’ve been on sema for 2 weeks now. It’s that time of month and this is the worst period I’ve ever had in my life. The cramps are top notch and I’m throwing up. Has anyone experienced this?

Questions about the symptoms

Hi all,

Got type 2. Normal weight. Metformin and Emplogflozin together at max dose, neither have done anything amazing. The private doctor recommended a tablet of 3mg (low dose) of Sempalgutide. Taken it maybe over 3 weeks now.

Feeling very unmotivated and fatigued currently. However, I've noticed things like lower bs most of the time or higher sometimes. Feel a bit like I've got the flu and loads of fatigue. I noticed that morning erections return (something I haven't had for over a decade or longer!).

Hoping the symptoms fade over time, typically they have with other tablets. As mentioned getting some also good things happening meanwhile. Any ideas or tips?

Thanks

Struggling to lose weight

Hello,

I have been on Wegovy since end of January. I have lost around 5 kg since then but I feel like I'm going very slowly. Semaglutide is doing it's job, food noise is basically zero and I have found myself skipping meals a bit too often because I don't feel the need to eat. I do some physical activities even though it's not super heavy compared to what I have done in the past. I'm wondering if you can spot the issue here or if anyone had my same issue and managed to solve it? I'm saying this because in the past I have struggled with depression and in a couple of months I lost a lot of weight because of appetite loss. I feel like I'm eating as little as that time at the moment and I'm not losing the same amount of weight.
