The soft landing from Covid was damn near miraculous. Chips and science act, inflation reduction act, bipartisan infrastructure bills, record stock market, holding together the western alliance while under threat. This guy knew how to get shit done.

His economy was the envy of the world. Trump crashing it hard and fast

Crashed it to own the libz and his cult. His cult will suffer oh so much more from his policies. He literally is using the tariffs as fucking “punishment” to the allies of the USA.

In 3 years he’s gonna blame this crash on Biden, just watch.

This. It’s reasonable to blame the last guy for the current problems, but that excuse becomes more baseless as time goes on. I think Biden is going to turn into MAGAs version of Emmanuel Goldstein from 1984.

We've always been at war with the EU and in an alliance with Russia.

There is no explanation to crash your own economy unless you want a civil war or you are a russian asset or both

The only way we escape this is his cult having an awakening moment. They drank the Kool Aid now is the time for them to realize there’s something wrong with it

I think we're gonna call this era "The Great Finding Out".

The second great leap forward.

To be a doomer i think the only way that will happen is if we fall into a great depression so bad that people die on the street and it becomes evident that anyone in power who let him get away with this doesn't understand economics at all or steal more then the most crooked dem

They will still blame the libs and the immigrants or the dems

1

u/AsstacularSpiderman Mar 06 '25

Yeah the only way they actually learn is if we treat them like the Germans and Japanese post war and drag them kicking and screaming back to reality

1

u/KingSweden24 Mar 06 '25

That’s a very rose colored view of postwar German and Japanese sentiment. Germany didn’t really come to terms with the war until the 1968 generation forced the question in the 1970s and Japan still has a very large “what war crimes” contingent, including the late Shinzo Abe

MAGA dumbfuckery will sadly be with us forever in some form

Hoovervilles except trumpvilles the major difference being shot in the street for protesting the conditions.

Unfortunately for death cults, the end result is never waking up.

The dude is the literal anti-Christ. They’ll be bathing in the flames of Armageddon crying thank you lord!

1

u/my_nameborat Mar 06 '25

And the dude is nearly 80. Cults have a hard time existing past their “charismatic” leaders death. I don’t envision Vance, musk, Johnson, desantis or any other current Republican as a logical successor.

If he makes things worse it won’t be long before people start turning on him or on his successor

1

u/Fab_iyay Mar 06 '25

You gotta say pwease and thank you to your leader

It's punishment for being anti-corruption.
