Absolutely. The one in the mulch bed looks to be attempting to be a physical barrier.

See, that’s why I do not mess with geese. They don’t care, no fear at all. Lost countless golf balls to these creatures!

But why? What's it really gonna do to you?

Go get attacked by one and find out. Make sure it's a mom protecting her eggs. You're gonna have a bad time.

So kick the stupid thing. Grab its neck and swing it around. Too easy

A goose bit me on the ass when I was seven. Wasn't a great time.

u/The_Mr_Wilson 4d ago

Not seven anymore. Just kick it, birds are weak to blunt attacks

Yes, under most circumstances, a human can easily 1v1 a goose... buut, under some circumstances, a goose can 1v1 a commercial jet engine to a draw. But anyway, I don't think that's the point here.

In goose-world, pretty much every living thing will eat their eggs/young. They're just terrified. So, killing one or grievously injuring it just because it's afraid of you and despite the fact that they're pretty harmless would a shitty thing to do when walking-on is just easier.

They have hundreds a tiny razor sharp teeth. A bite from a goose will fuck you up. My sister got bit on the finger when we were kids, really hurt and cut her up. Geese are inhabited by demons.

That the cost of eggs is a lie, and that burning Teslers is domestic terrorism?

Geese are the honey badgers of the sky. Their actual motto is FAFO.

Canadian people are kind and polite. Their geese will F you up. And when they migrate over the U.S. that honking is translated as “Ha ha! You can’t touch us! Migratory Bird Act, suckers!”

u/RealMrsWillGraham 4d ago

British - we get them here. There is a common in my area where a lot of them hang out.

I have heard them described as the hooligans of the bird world.
