Spent around ~25h (few days) in total on this project, created everything from 0, no assets. Been learning Blender for about 2 months now (little below 300 hours).

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could point out some mistakes or improvements. I will also provide wireframe in comments, so maybe some constructive critique there.

I can’t seem to understand why the boolean is lagging in second scene. I tried as hard as I could, but I couldn’t manage to create model with no booleans, that part was just way too congested already to edit the base mesh.

A newbie to Blender here. I started using Blender about a week ago and still find it extremely difficult. The buttons are almost unfindable. Some settings have to be fixed at the very beginning of the model. I've used AutoCAD and Fusion in the past. And yet, it seems extraordinarily difficult to me. So, is it just me who's struggling with these things or have you felt the same?

This is the mac mini in the kids church, and it should NOT be running cycles this well. Any new blender users looking to start for relatively cheap, this could be the way to go for starters. No render attached because i didn’t have time before I had to leave lmao.

Hello. I am looking to make my material texture have highlights on edges that are at a sharp angle, like having a lighter highlight. I've looked it up and it looks like I need to do something like putting the bevel node into the normal point on the BSDF. However, I am using a blenderkit material and the shader it is using has no normal input. I'm including screenshots of the node setup and what I want to acheive and what I currently have. How would you go on from here if you wanted to add edge highlights to the material I am using?

I recently started learning and getting into Blender and I obviously started with the classic BlenderGuru Donut tutorials. I had heard of it but I had not realized how massive the tutorial series really was. From even being referenced in "Everything everywhere all at once" to accumulating millions if views on YouTube, it all made me wonder:

Considering Blender is free-to-use and depends on the expansion of number of blender users (and for people to optionally give money to the devs), as well as the overall community, how influential are the Donut tutorials to Blender altogether in your opinion?
