Discussion Thinking about starting a streaming radio station
Hey there! I am thinking about putting together a station that plays music for independent artists. I was curious if any of you were interested in having your music played on it and actively participating in it. It would be sort of a for artists by artists thing. Could even host special shows of your creation if that is of interest. Let me know what you think!

Discussion Any distributor good for indie music?
Hey everyone, I'm new to releasing music and I'm trying to figure out the best distributor for my indie tracks. I’ve heard about a few options, but I’m curious if there’s any major difference between them, especially when it comes to indie music.
Do some distributors provide better support for indie artists? Or is it all pretty much the same? I’d love to hear your experiences and recommendations before I make a decision. Thanks!

New Release Olwenn - sunday is for jam #3 [Jam]
New Release Tempête émotionnelle
"Tempête émotionnelle" captures a woman's inner struggle and her quest for understanding amid overwhelming emotions. She feels misunderstood, as the comforting words of those around her fail to reach the depths of her pain. Despite longing to be heard, she gets lost in her doubts and fears. However, she maintains hope that one day others will see beyond the surface and that even amid chaos, she can find a way forward. Listen to this poignant reflection on vulnerability and the search for support.

Discussion Songs that give you a sense of safety and kindness?
There are rare artists who show so much empathy or relatable love in their songs, that they really manage to convey the feeling. I sometimes prefer listening to silly twee pop love songs, but when I have a strong need to feel safe I find myself listening to the same artists over and over again. Elliott Smith, Alex Chilton in Big Star, Thurtston Moore in some songs.
Some songs really express a desire to protect someone. When you listen to them, they really say to you "Hey, if I could help you, I would." And just the way they talk about their feelings makes you understand that it's not all shit and there is always hope and that you are not alone in feeling certain things. It's easy to say but hard to convey, and they do it without saying it just like that. Just some examples:
Blue Moon by Big Star is the clearest example of this thing. “ If demons come while you're under I'll be a blue moon in the sky”
Psychic Heart by Thurston Moore: “Losers, assholes, suck all the luck out of the world. The world for you, if I can get it back to you, I will And kick their asses all over town”
To you, which artists or which songs convey a sense of safety and protection?

New Release "Mahiya", the new Hindi track by my band Minaxi is here. Inspired by the classic shoegaze sounds and elements from Hindustani (Indian) music, sufism and qawwali, the song is a presentation of something familiar with something new. Hope you like the fusion!
context on the song / video
"Mahiya" (meaning dear one / love / lover in Hindi) is a nocturnal track about love, loneliness, and nostalgia. It speaks of befriending loneliness—the kind that creeps in during the middle of the night, reminding one of moments held dear: a familiar voice, a poignant sound, a visceral memory. The song playfully interprets these fleeting moments as a game of cat and mouse—the more you chase them, the more elusive they become.
Accompanying the song is a short film that visually explores its themes. One interpretation of moments held dear is through the game of cricket—a sport deeply embedded in Indian childhoods, whether through playing, watching, or experiencing it firsthand. Cricket is a monumental part of life in India, and the video pays homage to both the sport and the friendships it fosters.
