Full zoh shia armor. (Not fully upgraded bc apparently armor spheres are at the biggest premium in the world) Full hp. 20 water res. Instakill tail swipe that doesn’t even flash your hp bar much less give you enough time to react to it if you’re standing underneath the fucker bc the hitbox is active from the first frame it starts moving. Why? I apologize to the sos randoms for triple carting but that’s bullshit. I’ve carted less to zoh shia and I’ve killed 3 times as many. When people complain about artificial difficulty, this is what they’re talking about

It isn’t the hp either. You could give his amount of hp to the apexes and I would be happy because it means they wouldn’t die in only 5 minutes even as tempered 5 stars.

It’s his moveset. He just spams annoying ass AoEs. You’ll dodge the initial part of the attack just to get hit by the following explosion. Or you’ll get hit in the side or back by some bs crystal or massive charged fireball that isn’t even onscreen. If you aren’t actively holding elemental slinger ammo when he uses a nova you just die without anything you can really do about it. This is probably the main reason so many people die to him in SOS flares.

You can say “skill issue” but that kinda isn’t the case. I’ve beaten him 11 times with my fastest being about 13 minutes solo. I know it’s not the best time or probably even very impressive but I have 0 desire to improve it. I got both versions of the beta armor for the drip and I am done. I never want to touch this abysmal, joyless slog of a fight again. Really hope no good equipment in any future updates requires parts from it but they probably will unfortunately.

I'm sick of people saying that the newer games are "too accessible" or "too easy". And that preparation mattered more in older games, and praise the difficulty. Older gen was never more difficult because of anything approaching good game design. It was difficult because the controls sucked absolute dog ass and everything up to and including even your basic character movement was clunky and slow as hell.

I mean like MH Dos had you attack with the right analog stick for Christ's sake and move the camera with the d-pad. Which, by the way, the vertical movement of the camera was toggles of pre-set angles. Even with something as recent as 4U the camera can only move in one direction at a time and cannot move diagonally.

All of a sudden in 5th and 6th gen our characters can do things like basic fucking footwork while attacking and people complain that it's too easy Yeah, the guild finally gave us reverse lobotomy procedures so we can finally do our jobs. I can finally slightly alter my attack direction mid-swing because the monster tiptoed into an awkward position that I can, in no way at all, predict. It's not like monsters will tell you before they take a step out of your attack range. It's something you have to react to which you can finally do in the newer gen.

Being able to react to things instead of just passively hoping a monster doesn't do something like hopping left and right or charging forward is more skill based than older gen games ever were. This isn't to say I don't like the older games. I'm personally a fan of DOS and 4U but I'm not gonna sit here and pretend or let other people delude themselves into thinking old gen was a godsend and should be the standard for what monster hunter is supposed to be. There's a reason capcom is making the changes they do.

I have been absolutely loving wilds and have had an amazing time, I have been in the monster hunter community since worlds release and have since gone back and played several of the older titles.

With the new Zho Shia added in highrank I have just found more to love with wilds, so far i have only carted once to Zho and it was on my first attempt. I found Zho challenging but not insanely difficult and have soloed them a couple times.

Tell me why people who can barely pass the HR requirements are joining lobby/sos quests and carting almost instantly. I have had several instances where I will post an investigation only for people to come in and waste all effort I make.

I do not sos and the only reason I havent turned off lobby invites as to let people who are also grinding materials join for some easy materials.

On a different topic I have noticed what I will call "hunt poachers". I have had numerous times people join during the very latter half of a hunt. Now I myself have been guilty of not checking a hunts run time and joined only for it to end quickly after (although now it is something i check every time) but I do find it suspicious that it almost always happens once a hunt has run longer than usual. I know not all people joining are poaching the rewards but it is enough for me to be suspicious.

TLDR: stop joining hunts if you cant solo the monster yourself, you arent helping youre a burden.

Why the FUCK US THERE NOT AN OPTIONAL ZOH SHIA QUEST AFTER YOU BEAT HIM. HES AN AWESOME FIGHT IN HIGH RANK AND I WANTED TO FIGHT HIM WITH A DRIEND OF MINE, BUT AFTER WE BEAT HIM WE REALISE THAT WE HAVE TO SPAM REST LIKE SOME SLEEP DEPRIVED COLLEGE STUDENT BEFORE EXAM SEASON OR JOIN SOS FLARES FOR THE MINISCULE CHANCE THAT WE GET TO FIGHT HIM TOGETHER (WHICH WONT HAPPEN BECAUSE ITS DAY ONE AND EVERYONE HAS JUST STARTED FARMING HIM. NOW ME AND MY FRIEND ARE JUST GOING TO FARM HIM ALONE. Maybe I missed something though, perhaps I missed an obvious menu option or multiplayer menu interaction. Id love to know.

I LOVE MIZUTSUNE BUT HIS FIGHT WAS OVER IN 10 MINS AND AGAIN, I HATE SPAMMING REST TO FIGJT TEMPERED MONSTERS. AND I HATE HAVING TO WAIT FOR THE 5 STAR DIFFICULTY VERSIONS IF TEMOERED MONSTERS TO HAVE AN ACTUALLY ENGAGING FIGHT.

WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE SYSTEM IN WORLD AND SUNBREAK?!?????? WHEN I GO TO JAPAN AFTER THE GLOBAL ECONOMY FINISHES SHITTING ITSELF, I EXPECT TO GET BLINDFOLDED MID FLIGHT AND ASKED TO JUMP OFF THE PLANE FOR A CHANCE TO LAND IN THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN AND NOT THE PISS VERSION OF KOREA INSTEAD, BECAUSE CLEARLY, THAT IS WHERE THE JAPANESE GAME DEVS FOR CAPCOM GOT THEIR INSPIRATION FROM.

this game is a 10/10 one moment then a 5 outta fucking 1000 in the next. I loved fighting these MONSTERS but capcom developed a monster hunting game on such oddly shaky foundations

I swear to God above! I can't get another solo fight against Zoh Shia because reasons thanks Capcom. So the next best thing is running SOS.

I've beaten this fucker 5 times enough to make his armor and a weapon or 2, AND THIS FIGHT IS STILL DOGSHIT!!! I understand what to do, but FOR FUCKS SAKE, THE AMOUNT OF VISUAL NOISE IS GODDAMN OBNOXIOUS!!!! A bullshit one shot that killed me twice due to running our of slinger ammo and with blatantly missleading directions! Dont Stand BEHIND the rock formations that will protect you, but clear them away!!! A FuCKING ANNOYING AOES WITH A TRACKING FIREBALL THAT WILL ALWAYS HIT ME WITH ITS BURST!! Whatever the game, I’m usually good at parrying/blocking stuff, but this POS got the type of attacks I hate the most. Like these two attacks are no big deal but they just piss me off:

• full body charge, yeah I gotta position myself right but monster starts a kilometer away, I don’t know if I gotta parry the head of the limb (or worst case the body)

• front leg slam with explosions follow up. Right there you expect these front legs to hit you, but they don’t because the monster got surprisingly weird hit box, so you whiff your parry, and guess what ? You get WYLKED after that

I fucking hate these moves AAAAAAAH WHY THE FUCK DOES THESE MOVES EXIST IN THE FIRST PLACE

Having a boss last 30 minutes that can whip out a supernova and kill you in an instant is not difficult, it is a time sink that has the appearance of difficulty. That’s all. You know what I’m talking about. Yeah yeah, get good scrub. Shove it up your ass.

So I wanted to try to completely solo HR Zoh Shia for my first run for the quest against it. Within 10 seconds someone enters my hunt. I don't understand how, as I thought I never sent out an SoS. Fine, whatever. Leave the hunt because I didn't even make it to the Got Milk motherfucker.

Double check and yep, auto-SoS was turned off. Maybe it was just a fluke? Go back into the hunt. Getting slapped around by Zoh and not doing too awful. 14 minutes pass.

[Insert hunter name here] has entered the hunt!

BITCH DO YA FUCKIN' MIND. I SAID I WANT TO FIGHT THE MONSTER ON MY OWN AT LEAST ONCE. IF I DO NOT HAVE IT SET FOR PLAYERS TO ENTER MY HUNT, DON'T LET PLAYERS ENTER MY FUCKING HUNT!!! I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO GO OFFLINE ENTIRELY FOR THIS SHIT, ESPECIALLY FOR THE MAIN QUEST.

5800x3d 4070 super 32 GB RAM.

I wasn't able to get consistent 60 fps native before but it was PLAYABLE WITH FRAME GEN.

Now my 1% lows go down as far as 1fps, IN THE MOTHER FUCKING CAMP, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST

I have 2 friends, we all fought together, I died a total of 9 times to this giant waking othello game, and neither of my friends carted, but I fight just 2v or 1v and that bitch eats shit like a dung beetle. What the fuck am I doing wrong? I feel hyperfocused more with 3 than I do alone! Is this some kind of genuine skill issue, or am I tweaking?

Stop changing my camps after every Update! After every update my camps are kinda reset and I fking hate this shit. Nobody wants or needs the first camps per area stop it!

You fat roll all the time even when dodging into every single attack in the book even if it was a mistake you absolutely suck. You play GU at high level you suck, you fight master rank in world you suck, you play rise you are at the bottom of a barrel suck at end game master rank. How you even gonna make it every single player on planet earth is better then you, stronger then you and powerful they barely even take any damage even a real life god of gaming would say "yeah you fucking suck.
