Help: Beginner Filterless tank shrimps gathering at the top

Hello! I have an issue as per the title. Last time I posted I got a ton of help. We let the tank sit for a month and everything went well. Water parameters are normal. We have had the shrimps now for around a month and we think we can see eggs at one of them. However since a couple days they have been gathering at the top. Not all but it’s not their normal behaviour.

Is there anything I can/should do? Like I mentioned in the title the tank is filterless so I don’t know how to add oxygen.

Thank you for your help!

One of my shrimps with eggs seems to curl up into itself. It's shell seems normal otherwise. I've also noticed that it uses its legs to pat or brush it's back. Is this normal? It reminds me of my dog on its hind legs trying to push out it's poop.

Just got this guy a few days ago, today I noticed some white around his nose and I turned away for a second and most of it was gone. However there are some white dots on his side, is this scut or something, or just harmless coloration I hadn’t noticed before?

Help: Emergency Can I take the filter off my shrimp tank?

This tank has been running for about 6 months now, I started with 4 neocardinia and now there’s around 20. I’ve noticed groups of baby shrimp on many occasions but I think the filter is sucking the majority of them up because I rarely see new juveniles. I’ve tried covering the filter with a sponge and putting a sponge inside the pipe to slow down the flow, but they keep getting clogged up and constantly need rinsing out. I’m tempted to just remove the mechanical filter, but I’m worried about crashing the cycle. The substrate layer is very thick, it’s well established now and it’s heavily planted, I believe this is enough biological filtration to keep the skrimp population happy and healthy but I’m not sure. Has anyone had experience removing their mechanical filter from their shrimp tank? if so what effect did it have on the tank?

Fed my tank an algae wafer and noticed my berrried mama shrimp doing this. Is she okay? Is this normal behaviour for a berried shrimp? Can I help her?

Help: Emergency Adult Shrimp Dying

Over the last three days I’ve lost 4 shrimp, 2 cherries and 1 amano. I’ve done a water test and everything looks perfect. I have about 40 baby shrimp in there too and they seem unaffected up to now. I haven’t done anything to the tank at all, apart from a water top up, which I’ve been doing the same way for months and had no problems! It’s a shrimp only tank, 36l, live plants and natural substrate. I have noticed a slight increase in algae since we’ve been having sunnier weather but have since been closing the blinds so that the tank isn’t in direct sunlight at all. I’ve turned the heater down to 24C incase it was a temperature thing but I’m still losing shrimp! Anyone have any ideas about what could be going on? I’m fairly new to keeping shrimp.
