Visited Vancouver 3 weeks ago from Toronto. Took some pictures, thought to share in hope you might enjoy it.
This city is just unfair: mountains, concrete jungle, and the ocean, come on!

Cardinal Research, which is a newer polling outfit founded by @pollingcanada on Twitter with a B- rating on 338Canada , has released an individual riding poll for certain Metro Vancouver ridings. Poll is from March 27 - April 2, methodology is mixed IVR/In-Person.

Still an improvement over the last one with 11%, and the weather helped. I believe 2022 general had ~36%.

Just chilling with the shoppers (don't worry, there is clearance overhead for goosey to take off when desired)

The voting lines today were unreal—I’ve voted in nearly every election I’m eligible for and I’ve never seen anything like this before.

Just want to say thank you to the fantastic city staff who had to run this election today with 60-80% of their coworkers cut by the current city council. The ones at Carnegie were on 8am to 8pm shifts (likely longer now) and likely all the other staff across the city.
I hope folks were kind to them when they finally got their ballot to vote. They have been working hard and diligently to ensure our right to vote was upheld today!
AND REMEMBER, who were responsible for how the election ended up today, deliberate voter frustration and suppression we’ve never seen in this city before.

Voting stations at Brittania and Trout Lake were 200-300 people deep all day today. There are only 8 sign in tables at Brittania. Currently it’s an 1.5 h wait. This is totally outrageous.
Huge thank you to everyone who did their civic duty today, it was not made easy.
Priority line is short if need it. Please vote.

Thank you to the very sweet lady who bought a few boxes of girl guide cookies while waiting to vote, and passed one of her boxes down the line for everyone to share. It was the best part of my day today. Also massive props to the girl guide and her dad who sold out three crates of cookies, brilliant work.
