Question College and visual snow?

How are you guys able to go to school with this condition? I struggled through a semester last year and it was terrible :/ But I really do want to go back to school maybe this year or next. But I can't stand most flurescent, artificial lighting and I get sensory overload. It made my anxiety terrible and I honestly don't see how I can focus and study and do what's required of me when I'll most likely get severe headaches and migraines from it. also i don’t do well with long hours staring at screens or reading, so i feel kinda screwed.

I wear blue light-blocking glasses and make sure to study for no more than 2 hours at a time. I set a timer to ensure I'm not cramming. I try to ignore the symptoms as best I can; I know that sounds stupid, but it truly does help. I also recommend taking classes early in the morning and opting for online courses when possible to help prevent sensory overload. I developed VSS in my sophomore year of college and had a huge 2 o’clock lecture class with 400 students in it, which was a nightmare. Try to take classes with fewer students in them. And don't let VSS limit you. I know it's easier said than done, but you don’t want to look back on your life and regret not accomplishing what you wanted because of this condition. Good luck, friend!
