Sorry I accidentally deleted my reply when I wanted to edit it. I guess I went wrong when I cut the thread to cast off the glove part 😅

Does probiotic underarm toner actually work?

I found out about this on Instagram. Apparently it’s supposed to eliminate the bacteria that causes bad underarm smell. Personally, when I wear deodorant, I always find at the end of the day I still end up smelling of sweat. Would this help prevent that problem or is there something that could?

Biology eli5 how genetically distant is my great-great….grandfather? NSFW

If I were to go back in time to the 9th century ad, would it be biologically possible to have a child with my distant grandfather? How genetically dissimilar are we?

Knitting a beanie (first time knitter) I think I dropped a stitch. It’s all gone wrong. What happened?

Thanks for the positivity! I admit I’m a bit of a hypocritical perfectionist in that I expect perfection but don’t have the skill to make zero mistakes. But thankfully I’ve managed to fix it a bit and I’m hell bent on completing it :)

Thanks for telling me! Thankfully the stretch is quite good on it so far :)

I’m doing this video https://youtu.be/QQJQpk8L0fc Basically it says to do a knit stitch then a purl, then a knit, then a purl… so instead of just a knit row it’s a mix of alternating knit and purl Maybe I’m doing my purl wrong, I have been thinking this new method I’m trying is kinda odd

I discovered the issue. Turns out I had started back knitting the wrong side! 🫢

I meant anything but androgynous basically

I meant that there were random American accents thrown into the mix not that there are just American accents

It was a mistake! I meant historically ambiguous or anachronistic

I did mean anachronistic 😅

Yep, that’s why I put an image of perfectly aligned chemically lightened teeth. That’s all you seem to see on screen!

It was pointed out to me that androgynous is the wrong word here and instead I should have used anachronistic or ambiguous. English isn’t my first language and I’m very embarrassed 😅

I’m aware of the dentistry of medieval people (I study history) however they did not have access to chemical teeth whitening (unlike the actors portraying them) nor did they have braces to give them perfectly aligned teeth. So while the lack of a sugar rich diet made them less susceptible to cavities and other dental damage, they did not have access to braces and would naturally have developed imperfect alignment as well as slighted coloured teeth
