Worth a shot!

Literally immediately. Idk how to explain it. I’ve had the best two days. And last night was the first day I slept through the night in years. I woke up feeling so refreshed and not like I was hit by a train which is the usual feeling loll and today I checked off every huge list item that I’ve been putting off.

Literally wild. I only take half of the dose. Aka one pill instead of two. I do one PM and one AM pill. It’s amazing! Hope it keeps being great. I’m also detoxing from caffeine. Big changes

I tried Stasis (a supplement to take w your stimulant) and WOW it’s been two days and I feel cured. The crash at 4PM doesn’t exist and I wake up feeling literally amazing. No jitters and my brain works. Worth trying for those who feel like you hate stimulants but also need them. You take the supplement and the stimulant together. Wanted to pass along my success! Hopefully it continues! I feel like a new woman. :)

AITAH for walking out on a date after she showed up at least 50lbs heavier than her pictures?
 in  r/AITAH  5d ago

You may have mishandled it but you at least didn’t waste anyone’s time any further than it needed it be.

Just bought my first house at 40. People are work are calling it my starter house.
 in  r/Millennials  13d ago

Why does it matter if they’re calling it your starter house? Also, no one called my home my starter home because I presented it as an amazing house for me and my family. Maybe you’re presenting it as a small house or not “great” etc. idk I think it’s the way you present something effects what people say.

There is no way she’s a vet. OP, you probably said you loved animals and are a vet and she’s like omg me too. Like a way to manipulate you into liking her more. Also….you are both vets and you went to Olive Garden?!

Things for post op
 in  r/carpaltunnel  13d ago

Maybe food or takeout. I definitely didn’t want to cook lol. Other than that, I was totally fine. I just needed some gauze and self adhesive wrap to do a small bandage each day. By day 11 I was already wearing just a bandaid to cover the stitches. Hope your recovery is as easy as mine was!

Unsure what to do
 in  r/carpaltunnel  14d ago

My doctor would not do it awake. But regardless the procedure was super quick and easy and very minimal pain. Issue resolved almost immediately. Now it’s just sore from scar tissue and stuff. I want to look into OT or just be diligent with exercises.

Prozac newbie
 in  r/adhd_anxiety  19d ago

Yea once my anxiety diagnosis became a PMDD diagnosis, I searched best PMDD pills and Prozac was number one. I asked the doctor for it and he switched me and it was the best decision! I also added vyvanse to my morning routine and that plus the Prozac saved me

Emg + with only shoulder and forearm pain?
 in  r/carpaltunnel  19d ago

One of my arms is forearm and shoulder numbness and tingle. And then my other side was painful and arthritic feelings and wrist was awful. It was hard to use the hand. I had release surgery on that hand. I am getting release surgery on the hand that is connected to the numb arm and shoulder loll. I’ll let you know how that goes. Hand number one was immediate relief.

All my migraine medication is free in the US. Ubrelvy, Botox and Qulipta. BUT I pay a lot per month for insurance, $500.

Yes the missed dose or delayed dose is such an awful experience. Even sleeping in a bit!! Awful. I would honestly never recommend this even to my worst enemy. Getting off of it and the incredible short half life which gives you brain zaps if you miss or delay a dose is just horrendous. I’ve been on a lot of medications and this is the only one I have been vocal about in terms of not recommending it. It’s so so horrible. Yes it may work for anxiety or migraines but the suffering while taking this due to brain zaps and withdrawal is not worth suffering through.

I never come on here to say what to do or not do especially when a doctor recommends something but venlafaxine/effexor is a horrid drug. If you miss a dose by a few hours you will have INTENSE brain zaps. Honestly even sleeping in gave me brain zaps bc the half life is 11 hours compared to Prozac which is 4-5 days. Aka limited withdrawal in Prozac and awful withdrawal in Effexor. I had to take Prozac to get off of Effexor and it was the worst most horrible two weeks of my life. I was bed bound. The withdrawals are INSANE and I wished my doctor made me aware of this bc I would have never started taking it.
