Recommend me a game that’ll suck me in and emotionally wreck me :D

Same haha. I think Replicant is the most depressing game I've ever played, and I love those kinds of games so I seek them out. I wonder if anything can ever dethrone it in terms of soul-crushing sadness.

Here are some of my favourites in the "emotionally devastating" category:

Nier Replicant and Automata, Yakuza 0, Oneshot, 1000xResist, Minds Beneath Us, Night in the Woods, Disco Elysium, To The Moon series, In Stars and Time, Indika, the Forest of Drizzling Rain, Little Goody Two Shoes, Sanabi, Detention, Steins Gate.

My sister came into my room with this "snack"

I eat these all the time! Melt the cheese, put some sriracha or hot sauce on it and you got a top tier snack.

Anyone using Google Translate, consider switching to Deepl, it's so much better.

There are no "fictional" crimes, because there is no victim or perpetrator. What are you even talking about. You didn't give a single criticism or a reason for why I'm a red flag. Maybe worry more about actual criminals hurting real people?

Or maybe go complain in the Pokemon sub about how there are unsupervised children walking around capturing animals and making them fight each other. That's pretty fucked up if you think about it. Maybe Pokemon fans are all animal abusers. Because this is great logic, and a great use of our time, isn't it.

I hope insinuating that someone you don't know enjoys viewing illegal depictions of real sexual violence because they said you shouldn't judge others for their preferences in fiction made you feel better. But maybe you should be aware that it's kind of rude.

What does it matter? Let people have fun, none of these characters are real and it doesn't hurt anyone. There's some fanart I don't like either, but people shouldn't stop making the content they want to make because of what I think.

Nothing that happens in your imagination can ever make you a bad person, especially concerning fictional characters. Neither can any kind of fanart, fanfiction, porn or anything else. Anyone is free to sexualize whoever they like as far as I'm concerned, because that's what fiction is for, to be enjoyed.

What is your opinion on Turnabout Samurai?
 in  r/AceAttorney  1d ago

I love this case, mostly because it's the case which really sucked me into the game, even though the main mystery and witnesses are mediocre. It's a case that has many firsts. It's the first time Edgeworth helped Phoenix and we got to see that he isn't all that bad, the first time the culprit had a slightly more sympathetic and interesting motivation, the first time I found Gumshoe more endearing than annoying, the first time I genuinely laughed during a cross-examination, the first time I really felt the charm of Ace Attorney. So it's always going to be special to me because of that.

The Golden age of JRPGs the PS1, My Personal PS1 JRPG Tier list.

I love tier lists, so it was interesting to read as someone who is playing through their first PS1 JRPG right now. Don't listen to the comments btw, people who can't handle other people having opinions are sad.

I'm glad that it's not usually this bad and your post doesn't bother me in any way lol, I just think it's kinda pointless. But it's nice of you to make it, so I don't have any major problem with it. It's sad that you had to deal with such a situation in the first place.

Honestly from watching let's plays, streams and so on of different games for many years, I've come to the conclusion that it's just human behavior, and it's pointless to even ask not to spoil, because people will do it no matter what. It sucks but there's no escaping it. Every streamer I've seen goes through the phase of asking in every way possible not to spoil, but they have to hire mods eventually because it will never work. This mod has all the rights to vent, but it slightly surprises me that they talk like it's something extraordinary or exceptional. Maybe they're new to modding.

I wish I had skipped it. Yakuza 4 too. Both are bottom tier Yakuza games sadly.

For the same reasons people ship anything else I imagine. Personally I don't ship them and don't really care why others do, but people who like things that I don't are allowed to exist without getting death threats. Ship and let ship and don't be a dick about polygons towards real people, that's all I'm saying.

Anyone who bullies real people and tells them to kill themselves over fictional characters is far worse than people who ship whatever they ship. Y'all need to go touch grass.
