Troubleshooting / Issue Google Signs me out

Everytime I log in to my Google account it says logged in then when I open maps or another Google app it tells me " you have been signed out of your account" I tried restarting but holding the white line for 20sec and it does itbto me again. I tried deleting the profile and starting a new one again, it does it again. Only the first and main profile works which is my wife's but I would like to have it logged in when I'm using my profile.

Anyone know the fix for this? It's been happening for a long time already now I'm fed up.

Thanks

When does the overstay start? For example if they recieved my application before my 6 month visa expires, and now i have been here waiting for long past, is that considered overstay?

Plan Choice Suggestions Need HelpChoosing the right Insurance

Hi everyone, I am currently in need of insurance for my self and my son (wife is on her parents plan still). Since our household income is above the threshold to get any Medicaid or Jersey care (around 120k) I will need to take of that myself. My job does not offer any benefits. I just moved to the US so this is all new to me and I don't know where to start. Any advice and recommendations are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

JPM Managed Brokerage not performing to my expectations WHY?

I was recommended by the financial advisor at my bank to put my money in this managed brokerage account. I opened it up in sept 25 2024 and it's been down ever since I noticed how many different funds are invested in this portfolio and it seems quite a lot. I wanted something I could just put about 1k/month and forget. But now I'm having second thoughts.

I was just wondering that even when all the markets were up by 6% since I put in, my account was still down. And when the markets were down I was even more down.

[request] How much would Jeff Bezos have to spend on wedding to equal average american's net worth spent on wedding?
 in  r/theydidthemath  Dec 29 '24

This is correct, however if we were to calculate his yearly income let's see what percentage we get? His net worth is irrelevant as it is all in shares right now, I just want to laugh at the taxes he will have to pay on the income he will take just to pay for this wedding! (Unless there is some loophole in that as well)

To Convert to USD or not?

This will be my first year filing US taxes and I am a resident of the US from now on. I am not so worried about dividends more of the capital gains which I will have to file for in Canada and us in the future. I just don't want to have to deal with that later on.

Yes I ca technically keep it all but it would mean that I would have to file canadian taxes and also file in the US for m ly foreign income etc. If I sell. I dont want to have to deal with this

Took long enough for someone to understand my question! Maybe I just wasn't clear enough. But you hit the nail on the head. My risk tolerance is pretty high. I don't need the money now or in the near future, but it would have been nice to have a normal exchange rate at this point in my life so the decision isn't so hard.

PSA: Withdrawing from Your TFSA? Here’s How It Works with Contribution Room
 in  r/CanadianInvestor  Dec 26 '24

How does it work of one becomes a non resident and liquidates his tfsa. Will the contribution room open back up as well? For example if one removes 100% of his tfsa at 100k will he have 100k contribution room if he becomes a resident 10 years later? Also, will he have the 10 years worth of contribution as well or it goes on pause?

The issue is I don't want to have any income to file taxes in canada for 2025. So I can hold hoping CAD will go back or I can transfer at the current ex rate and invest in the US right away

Well I didn't have to, I just don't want to have to file in canada in 2025. And eventually i will need the money in the US anyways

I live in the US now that's why I want to transfer this year so I don't have to file again in 2025

That what I was thinking as well, I just feel irresponsible to have it sit idle waiting.

Canadian Dollars vs The Market

I am currently holding onto CAD cash since I had to sell off all my investments before the end of this year because of tax purposes. I am sitting on about 130k CAD in cash right now and would need to get it into the US before I invest again. The question is, should I convert it all to USD and invest in the US or should I hold onto CAD in cash hoping it will go back to 1.35 range once Trudeau get fired, and then transfer to the US (What is more likely to happen, the market will continue to go up first quarter of 2025 or the CAD will go back up?)

What to do with useless Tavor x95
 in  r/canadaguns  Dec 13 '24

That would be great point if he still lived in canada...fortunately he doesn't anymore, and has the freedom to buy whatever he wants in the US so now it's a matter of leaving it to rot in canada or adding it to the collection where it can be used.

Asking for a friend, if Someone moves to the US and in the meantime the Canadian Gov. Decided to ban his gun is there anything he can do to recover some value to it. He would like to transfer it to his wife here in the US and would like to know if anyone has done it in the past, or if it's even possible now that they added the Tavor to banned the list.

Is it still sellable In canada? How would he transfer it over to to someone on the US?

Any information is helpful, Thanks
